While a lot of your time in Paralives can be spent renovating your Parafolks' house into a dream home, there's a lot beyond the front door of their humble abode. The town in Paralives has a number of different shops and attractions to check out, as well as other Parafolk to befriend (or even romance). When you first start playing the game, however, the sheer amount of places to see and explore can be overwhelming. Especially when you're not familiar with the layout. Fortunately, there's a way to view a town map in Paralives as well as investigate what each building is, so you can get around more easily as you're first finding your feet.

With many of its jobs still under wraps, Paralives has tons of potential to deliver on career paths that games like The Sims and InZOI are missing.
How to View the Town Map in Paralives
To view the town map, press 'M' on your keyboard, scroll down the scroll wheel on your mouse, or press the minus/dash (-) key on your keyboard. This will cause the camera to zoom out from the standard gameplay view. At its most zoomed-out, you'll get a bird's-eye view of the surrounding area, with different buildings and places of interest labeled, as shown in the screenshot below.
If you want to learn more about one of the buildings, simply move your cursor over it and left-click on it to view information. There are several different shops to visit to purchase items, as well as restaurants, a museum, a community center, and, of course, the office buildings where your Parafolks go to work.

When you zoom out to view the town map, I recommend pausing the passing of time by clicking on the pause icon in the bottom right corner. This will allow you to learn the layout of the town and what all the buildings are without your Parafolks' needs changing or them wasting precious hours in a day idly sitting around when they could be improving their skills!
