How to Kill a Para in Paralives
Death by Fire
Fire is probably the easiest way to kill a para in Paralives. Just send them to the kitchen and have them cook an advanced recipe. Before long, there's a good chance something will go wrong and start a fire.
From there, all you have to do is let the fire spread. Your Para won’t survive for long.
Death by Starvation
Paras need food to survive. If they go too long without eating, their hunger need will keep dropping until it eventually becomes a serious problem.
To kill a para through starvation, you will need to stop feeding them. Even when the hunger meter turns red, resist the urge to give them something to eat. After enough time passes, the para will eventually die from starvation.
If you'd rather speed things up, you can use the cheat command DECAYNEED HUNGER (number). This instantly lowers a para's hunger by the amount you enter. For example, using DECAYNEED HUNGER 4 will remove four bars from their hunger meter.
Death by Exhaustion
Sleep is an important need in Paralives, and constantly ignoring it can have serious consequences.
To kill a para by exhaustion, don't let them get any rest. As their sleep needs drop, they will become increasingly uncomfortable. Keep depriving them of sleep for long enough, and it can eventually lead to their death.
Players who want a quicker result can use the cheat DECAYNEED SLEEP (number).
Death by Poisoning
Out in the world, you will sometimes see mushrooms growing by the roadside, and not all of them are safe.
Some mushrooms are poisonous, and if your para eats the wrong one, things can go south quickly. From what I’ve seen, one bite is not enough to be fatal, so you may need to eat a couple of mushrooms.
Death by Old Age
This one can be quite time-consuming. Parafolks can live for a long time, and there is no strict age at which they automatically die. Still, eventually, old age catches up with them.
In my experience, I have seen paras live up to around 100 years before passing away. If you don’t want to sit around waiting forever, there’s also the cheat NEXTLIFESTAGE. Use it to quickly age up your para.
