Paralives has fantastic outfit options, with players able to customize almost any aspect of their character's appearance. Four outfits will be made in character creation, one each for Casual, Formal, Workout, and Pajamas. To change these outfits, players can click on the character they are controlling. Underneath their name should be a white shirt button, which opens the outfit menu. As long as they aren't asleep or otherwise engaged, clicking on an outfit will make them instantly change clothes.
7 New Simulation Games Coming In 2026
From farming to running a gas station, 2026 lets players jump into a bunch of new simulation worlds with these exciting new games.
How To Change Outfits In Paralives
Outfits will often change automatically, depending on what your character is doing. For example, when going to bed, they will put their pajamas on, and the same can be said for going to work at a new job.
However, there will be times when players want to do this themselves, so that their character isn't wearing the same set of clothes day in, day out. This can be done by clicking on the character and selecting the white shirt button underneath their name.
Opening the outfits menu to change clothes will automatically pause the game, so don't worry about doing this beforehand if you're conscious of time.
Alternatively, and for more immersion in their life simulation game, players can click on a wardrobe or set of drawers to change their outfit in Paralives. Doing so will make the character walk over there to change.

How To Make New Outfits In Paralives
Players will be glad to know that it's possible to make multiple outfits for each category in Paralives. For example, you can have an array of casual outfits or a few different sets of pajamas to switch between at ease.
These can be edited at any time, and the same can be said for making new sets. To do so, open the outfit menu as outlined above, and at the bottom, select the Create New Outfit option.
10 Simulation Games With Permadeath
Here are some of the most notable simulation games that employ a permadeath system and cause players to get emotional when their characters die.
Creating New Outfits
This essentially reopens character creation, although only clothes, hair, and makeup can be changed. The outfit categories are listed in the top right, and players can switch between these. However, to create new versions, the three dots under the outfit icon must be clicked, with this being easy to miss.
A window underneath will be opened, showing the outfits in that category. Clicking the plus button will create a copy of the selected outfit. Players can then modify this in any way they like, and they will now have two casual outfits to choose from, for example.
There doesn't seem to be any limit to the number of outfits you can have in Paralives, so go wild and even consider slight variations of your favorite outfits.
You can even change your hairstyle, makeup, and jewelry for each outfit, so accessorizing is a real option. Make sure to also make use of the color palette to change any individual item of clothing. Some even have extra options, such as tucking shirts in or not.
