One Piece: 9 Strongest Trios In The Grand Line, Ranked

The One Piece world isn't lacking for fighters, and when it comes to the powerful pirate crews, there are usually a group of strong individuals that lead from the front. Often, Oda has grouped the strongest of particular organizations in trios, and inside the Straw Hat Pirates themselves, there are many interesting trio dynamics that have emerged over the years. Similarly, other organizations that exist in the One Piece world have powerful trios as well. While there are countless of these mighty trios in the One Piece world, only a handful stand out as the very best.

9 Coward Trio

• Crew: Straw Hat Pirates

The Coward Trio is quite powerful in the One Piece World, despite having the name of a coward. This trio consists of Nami, Chopper, and Usopp. Usually, these individuals appear cowardly when compared to the other members of the Straw Hat Pirates. However, over the years, they have developed greatly as well.

In Wano, the Coward Trio showcased great feats. Chopper was able to stand his ground against Queen for a short period of time, while Nami and Usopp combined to fight effectively against the Tobiroppo.

8 All Stars

• Crew: Beast Pirates

The All Stars are the strongest men of Kaido, and it goes without saying that these pirates are monstrously powerful. The All Stars consist of Jack the Drought, Queen the Plague, and King the Wildfire. All three of them hold mighty abilities up their sleeve. They all possess tremendously powerful Ancient Zoan Devil Fruits.

While Jack can transform into a mammoth, Queen can transform into a giant Brachiosaurus and King can transform into a Pteranodon. Their strength is amazing, but they were eventually beaten by the Straw Hat Pirates in Wano.

7 Sweet Commanders

• Crew: Big Mom Pirates

The Sweet Commanders are the three strongest underlings of Big Mom. There used to be four Sweet Commanders in the Big Mom Pirates; however, after Urouge defeated Snack, he was demoted. Currently, the Sweet Commanders are made up of Katakuri, Smoothie, and Cracker, with Katakuri being the strongest. This trio is incredibly powerful, and they all have high bounties across the board.

It goes without saying that their strength is absolutely incredible, and a glimpse of that was given to the fans in the Whole Cake Island arc of One Piece.

6 The Original Revolutionaries

• Group: Revolutionary Army

The Revolutionary Army was built by Dragon, Ivankov, and Kuma, and these three formed the main pillars of this army and they are considered to be the strongest trio of this group.

Just Dragon's strength alone was immense even back in the day, and when Ivankov and Kuma are added on each side, they become monstrously powerful as a group. Right now, this trio doesn't exist anymore. However, back in the day, they were certainly a force to be reckoned with.

5 The Worst Generation Trio

• Crew: Multiple

The Worst Generation Trio was created during the war of Onigashima, as Luffy, Law, and Kid, all from different pirate crews, pooled their strength together to oppose the influence of Big Mom and Kaido, who had allied together.

This trio was one of the strongest in One Piece and did more than just impress against the Yonko. Right now, they're even stronger as individuals, with tremendously dangerous Devil Fruit abilities, and with it, strong Haki as well. It is unlikely for this trio to ever join hands again, but if it does happen, it'll surely be another spectacle like Onigashima.

4 Monster Trio

• Crew: Straw Hat Pirates

The Monster Trio is an incredibly powerful group and certainly one of the strongest trios that the fans have seen in One Piece. Given that this group consists of Yonko Straw Hat Luffy, they certainly deserve an incredibly high-ranking. Luffy himself is capable of taking on more than one Admiral in combat when he's at full power. Meanwhile, Zoro and Sanji are continuously growing and their fans have not even seen them being tested to the fullest. Both are mighty individuals and a force to be reckoned with.

At their best, this trio is certainly among the strongest, with Elbaf lining up some very strong power-ups for them. Specifically, this arc of One Piece is drawing parallels between Luffy's Wings and those of Roger — Rayleigh and Gaban. As such, both Sanji and Zoro are tipped to awaken Conqueror's Haki in this arc and in doing so, take their overall level of strength to a whole new level. We can't wait to see Luffy's Wings grow stronger and for this trio to conquer the world.

3 The OG Admirals

• Group: Marines

The OG Admirals that the fans saw in the Paramount were some of the strongest individuals in the entire series. They were made up of Sakazuki, Kuzan, and Borsalino. Together, they worked flawlessly to stop the Whitebeard Pirates in the Paramount War and fans were thoroughly impressed with them.

Their strength was immense, such that they could even fight against Whitebeard momentarily. Of course, Whitebeard ended up being defeated due to his sick body, while the others triumphed over their counterparts, largely due to the disturbing situation surrounding Whitebeard's health. Still, this trio holds tremendous capabilities, thanks to their mighty Logia Devil Fruits and great control over Haki.

2 The Old Marine Trio

• Group: Marines

The Marines have had some of the strongest trios in the history of One Piece, and the old trio which consisted of Garp, Sengoku, and Tsuru is certainly one of the best. Garp and Sengoku were strong enough to fight against Roger, as the late Pirate King admitted himself. Both of these individuals were in the same league as the likes of the Yonko, while Tsuru’s full strength remains unknown to date.

However, a pirate such as Doflamingo ran from her on every opportunity he had despite her being very old, which suggests that she held a tremendous level of strength despite being just a Vice Admiral.

1 Roger And His Wings

• Crew: Roger Pirates

By far, the strongest trio that we have seen in One Piece is the Roger Pirates trio. This trio consists of Gol D. Roger, Silvers Rayleigh, and Scopper Gaban. As is evident from the name, this trio is based on the metals gold, silver, and copper. While fans have not seen much of this Trio in action over the years, it is quite clear that their strength was out of this world. All three were above Yonko Level with Conqueror's Haki of the highest level. They were feared all over the world and One Piece’s Elbaf arc confirmed that they were all around the same level of strength.
