NTE Gacha System Explained
Standard Board vs Limited Board
The Character gacha system in NTE is called the Scarborough Fair, which is home to two separate banners (called “Boards”). The Standard Board features a default set of standard S-Class and A-Class characters similar to Standard Banners from other gacha games, whereas the Limited Board is a time-limited Banner that only lasts for 14 days at a time, featuring new S-Class and A-Class characters that are not available on the Standard Banner.
The following table shows the drop rate for Characters and Arcs on the Standard and Limited Banners.

The Standard Board has a beginner discount that makes it so that your first five 10-pulls will cost 8 Fabricated Dice (instead of 10). Additionally, after you perform 50 pulls on the Standard Banner, you’ll be able to claim a free Standard S-Class character from that board. This reward does not expire.
How Does the Board Work?
The Board is a visual representation of the gacha in NTE, a system unique to this game. Each time players perform a “roll/pull” on a board, the game rolls a die that has an equal chance of rolling any number between 1 and 6. Whichever number is rolled, that’s how many spaces on the board your piece will move forward. Then, whichever tile the piece lands on, that’s what you get from that “pull.”
The Standard and Limited Boards in NTE have the following tiles and rewards:
|

How to Play Character Trials in NTE (Neverness to Everness)
Character Trials in NTE: Neverness to Everness allow players to test out the skills and abilities of unfamiliar Espers before pulling for them.
What is Board Modification?
After you perform 70 rolls/pulls on a board, it will trigger a Board Modification for that board. Board Modification drastically increases the chance of you getting S-Class characters from that board by nearly tripling the number of tiles on the board with S-Class characters.
Board Modification is separate for each board, and it only lasts until you pull one S-Class character from that board. The drop rate of S-Class characters on a standard board is 0.99%, but with Board Modification in effect, this jumps up to 19.59%.
Weapon Banner in NTE
The Weapon Banner is located in the Arc Selection section in the Arc Shop in the Mall in NTE. This functions as a Limited Banner for Arcs, featuring a rate-up S-Class Arc alongside five other S-Class Arcs.
The Weapon Banner does not allow for single pulls; you can only roll using 10-pulls each time using 10x Tri-Keys. The following table shows the drop rate for Arcs in this banner.

NTE Pity Explained
Standard and Limited Banner Pity
Here is how pity works on the Standard and Limited Banners in NTE.
- S-Class Character Pity: S-Class Character Pity is at 90 rolls. This means the 90th roll is guaranteed to be an S-Class. On the Standard Board, it will be one of the six Standard S-Class characters, whereas on the Limited Board, it will always be the featured S-Class character.
- A-Class Pity: A-Class pity is at every 10 rolls. This means that every 10th roll is guaranteed to give you an A-Class character or an A-Class Arc. There is no separate pity for A-Class characters.
Pity is shared across banners. So, if you pull 50 times on the Limited Banner for Nanally and do not manage to pull her, that pity will carry over to the next Limited Banner.
There is no 50/50 pity system in NTE; the rate-up S-Class is guaranteed on the 90th roll.
Weapon Banner Pity
- An A-Class Arc is guaranteed on every 10 pulls (1x roll).
- An S-Class Arc is guaranteed on every 60 pulls (6x rolls).
- The rate-up S-Class Arc is guaranteed on every 80 pulls (8x rolls).
Like the character banners, Pity carries over to the next Limited Issue.
