Following the release of Pokemon Pokopia, one gamer has given their Nintendo Switch 2 a Ditto-inspired makeover. While many fans have been sharing in-game creations, this Switch 2 makeover has caught the attention of the gaming community, with many other fans wanting to do something similar to their console.

The Switch 2 is nearing its first birthday, with the hybrid system releasing back on June 5, 2025. Despite facing various controversies, the Switch 2 has sold millions of units, and various big exclusive titles have been released, such as Donkey Kong Bananza, Mario Kart World, and Kirby Air Riders. One of the most recent of these exclusives is Pokemon Pokopia, which launched on March 5. The life simulation spin-off game has been a hit with players, selling over 2.2 million copies in its first four days. As players continue to play the game, some impressive tributes have appeared online.

Pokopia Fan's Simple-Yet-Awesome Ditto-Themed Nintendo Switch 2

One of these neat projects was shared on the official Pokopia subreddit by Reddit user WhisperingBlume888. As seen in the image, the gamer “Ditto-fied” their Nintendo Switch 2. Specifically, they purchased a purple case for the console to match the coloration of the Pokemon and added a sticker for the face to the back. According to WhisperingBlume888, they came up with the idea for the Ditto-themed makeover after being given a Switch 2 as an early birthday present so they could play Pokopia.

With so many gamers playing Pokopia right now, it is no surprise that this Switch 2 makeover piqued the interest of the Reddit community. So far, WhisperingBlume888’s Reddit post has over 4.3K upvotes, and many fans have left comments praising the look of the customized console. In particular, comments pointed out how effective the minimalist design turned out to be. Additionally, many gamers were inspired to give their Switch 2 systems a Ditto makeover. Fortunately, WhisperingBlume888 shared the name of the case and sticker in the post description.

While fans have been inspired to make out-of-game tributes to Pokopia, many others have been busy showcasing their skills in the game. Players can utilize various customization tools to redesign their islands, and some builds have taken things to the next level. For example, one player recently recreated the Spirited Away bathhouse in Pokopia, revealing what is possible in the game.

More Nintendo Switch 2-Exclusive Games Are Coming Soon

Hopefully, Pokopia players will continue to be inspired in the days ahead. While the creative freedom of the game should keep players coming back, more games are coming to Switch 2 this year. Notably, Nintendo recently announced the release date for Splatoon Raiders, revealing it will launch on July 23. In addition, Yoshi and the Mysterious Book is coming on May 21, and Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave is expected to drop later in the year.

While big hitters, such as the next 3D Super Mario game, remain absent, Nintendo fans have some titles to look forward to on Switch 2. Time will tell what else will be announced as 2026 rolls on.
