Details

Lacrimosa in nte

Lacrimosa

Lacrimosa joins the NTE roster and finds her place immediately in the S-Tier. She's an incredible main DPS who can also operate as a Sub-DPS alongside another character that needs field time, like Baicang. Her flexibility, alongside her high DPS, allows Lacrimosa to be the center of the team's rotation, where characters can keep triggering Nova and Scorch around her. This makes it easier to trigger Discord repeatedly, which is one of the main reasons Lacrimosa performs so well in combat.

Daffodil In NTE (Neverness to Everness)

Daffodil

Before Lacrimosa joined NTE, Daffodil was the only Chaos character in the roster. She has decent DPS alongside enhanced team rotations, which is what earned her the S-rank. Unfortunately, Lacrimosa's higher damage ceiling pushes Daffodil down to the A-Tier.

NTE Version 1.0 Update

Character

Details

Hotori in NTE

Hotori

Hotori is an excellent Sub-DPS unit that can also operate as a support for her team. Not only that, but she also has a strong DPS window after activating her Ultimate. All that versatility makes her one of the best Cosmos characters to include in your teams. Hotori definitely deserves her spot as an S-Tier Sub-DPS in this Tier list.

Esper Zero In NTE (Neverness to Everness)

Zero

Zero is a very F2P character since you can get all their build for free, like their Day Off Arc in NTE. They also have the Cosmos element, on top of being able to instantly fill the Cycle Gauge, which allows them to match perfectly with Lakshana and Anima characters. They also slightly heal their team, which is a nice addition. For now, Zero is an S-Tier Sub-DPS character.

Adler In NTE (Neverness to Everness)

Adler

Adler is a decent support character that offers a shield for his team alongside a small DoT. He works well in DoT teams that depend on the Scorch and Discord elemental reactions in NTE. Because of his shield and slight utility, Adler is an A-Tier support character.

Aurelia In NTE (Neverness to Everness)

Aurelia

It's hard to play Aurelia as a Sub-DPS since her playstyle demands so much field time. However, she's still capable of dealing a lot of damage when she has a team supporting her. Aurelia and her jellyfish are a B-Tier Main DPS in NTE.

Baicang In NTE (Neverness to Everness)

Baicang

Baicang is a strong main DPS that can participate in every team that needs an Incantation character. He also works well with characters like Skia, Fadia, and Lacrimosa in future updates. His ability to deal DoT damage allows him to team well with characters like Sakiri, who is one of the best characters in NTE. Baicang is an A-Tier Main DPS character.

Chiz In NTE (Neverness to Everness)

Chiz

Chiz works well as a Main DPS, especially because of her Cosmos element and her ability to further benefit from the Charge Esper reaction. She's a little bit complicated because she requires slight Grain management and pressing on time. Overall, Chiz can lead the team's DPS without issues, which makes her an A-Tier Main DPS in NTE. However, given that players will get all her Awakenings for free, she will easily climb her way into the S-Tier.

Daffodil In NTE (Neverness to Everness)

Daffodil

Daffodil is an excellent Sub-DPS unit that has an entire kit that revolves around constantly getting on and off the field. She really works around her teammates while also enhancing their time on the field. The best part about her gameplay is her mechanics that buff her Break damage while being a Chaos character, which also gives Daffodil easy access to the Discord reaction, which further enhances the Break gameplay. Daffodil is an S-Tier Sub-DPS in NTE.

Edgar In NTE (Neverness to Everness)

Edgar

Edgar is a great healer who can offer a team-wide healing during combat. Unfortunately, he doesn't offer anything beyond that, which puts him immediately in the lowest tiers in games like NTE.

Fadia In NTE (Neverness to Everness)

Fadia

Fadia is a very useful off-field DPS who can also shield the team at the same time. Her kit is a bit complicated because of how she redirects damage to herself, and then she needs to heal herself. Fadia also deals Mental damage, which pairs well with her passive that buffs the Nova Esper Cycle. Unfortunately, she doesn't offer faster cycles with her team, which puts her slightly under other characters in this tier list.

Haniel In NTE (Neverness to Everness)

Haniel

Haniel is the straight ATK% buffer that works with almost every single character in NTE. As an A-Class character, you can get Haniel's Awakenings easily, which further increases her utility, especially her buff's uptime. Haniel is definitely an S-Tier support in NTE.

hathor In NTE (Neverness to Everness)

Hathor

Hathor is an amazing Sub-DPS unit in NTE. After casting her Ultimate, she gains access to some of the best DPS in the game. One of her most important abilities is her passive, which increases the Remora duration to up to 12 seconds. That allows her or her team to fully benefit from the Charge Esper reaction in NTE. Hathor's only downside is that you either need to play a full Charge team to get her Ultimate back every rotation or team her up with another DPS to fill the downtime while she's getting her Ult back. All in all, Hathor is an S-Tier Sub-DPS in NTE.

Jiuyuan In NTE (Neverness to Everness)

Jiuyuan

Jiuyuan gives her team the ability to spam Vita Buds during combat. Not to mention, she also applies a lot of DoT on targets when Vita Pistils hits enemies, which greatly increases her off-field DPS. Her damage and utility allow her to support the team as much as she deals damage, which is a rare thing to have for NTE characters. While her on-field DPS is on the lower side, Jiuyuan's off-field damage and supportive abilities ensure Jiuyuan is an A-Tier Sub-DPS character in NTE.

Mint In NTE (Neverness to Everness)

Mint

Mint serves as a starter character that doesn't offer anything beyond some low-tier damage. That's why she's a C-Tier character in NTE.

Nanaly In NTE (Neverness to Everness)

Nanally

Nanally has access to some of the best DPS in NTE when her Skill and Ultimate are both active at the same time. She also doesn't require any complicated team building or rotation. A very simple approach to a very strong DPS, Nanally is an S-Tier Main DPS in NTE.

Sakiri In NTE (Neverness to Everness)

Sakiri

Sakiri is the perfect character to bring whenever you want to build a team that triggers the Scorch Esper Cycle. She does two things perfectly, which are grouping enemies and increasing the DoT they take, which easily puts her in the S-Tier rank.

Skia In NTE (Neverness to Everness)

Skia

Skia looks cool when fighting enemies, but his damage isn't all that cool. He needs a lot of learning and managing when it comes to stacking Fang Thrusts on enemies. But once you start understanding his kit, his damage becomes comparable to other main DPS units in NTE. For now, Skia is a B-Tier Main DPS Esper.
