One of the best teams you can pair with Lacrimosa includes Sakiri and Haniel, since all three characters can trigger Nova, Scorch, and Discord while giving Lacrimosa all the field time she needs.

Lacrimosa is amazing at taking the field and dealing an insane amount of DMG, so it makes sense to build a team around her that requires very little field time. At least, that's the case with Sakiri and Haniel, who help trigger enhanced Nova and Scorch reactions without competing for field time. Not only that, but both characters are amazing ATK% buffers that will greatly elevate Lacrimosa's DPS when she takes the field.

As for Baicang, he needs to share the field with Lacrimosa in order to make the most of his Esper abilities. However, Baicang also enhances Scorch reactions, greatly improving the team's DoT gameplay. He also has a special animation when Lacrimosa is on his team, which further improves their synergy.

In this team, you start the rotation by applying Haniel and Sakiri's buffs before switching to Baicang to complete his Esper gauge. Once his Esper gauge is complete, you can switch to Lacrimosa, who is also flexible when it comes to rotating on and off the field. Use that to your advantage to trigger Nova more often with Haniel, since it's slightly harder to trigger than Scorch, which has two characters working toward it.

If you plan to trigger more Discord reactions, then you can replace Baicang with Daffodill, who is excellent at rotating between Psyche and Incantation characters to trigger the Discord reaction more frequently. If you need survivability, you can swap Haniel for Fadia or Adler.

You can also build a Lacrimosa F2P team by including Adler and Haniel. Both A-Rank characters are solid off-field choices that enhance Lacrimosa's gameplay. Haniel buffs Lacrimosa's ATK% and Crit DMG through her kit, build, and Awakenings. As for Adler, he provides sustainability to the team with his shields, on top of the small debuffs he inflicts when the team triggers Scorch. You can easily rotate between these three characters to trigger all the Esper reactions Lacrimosa needs to enhance her gameplay.

The last character can be any Psyche or Incantation character you got for free, as the team is already complete. Whether it's Sakiri, Baicang, or Daffodill, they'll only improve the team's rotations and performance during combat.
