You can unlock the Auction House in Neverness to Everness by progressing through the main story quest called “Deal? Deal!”. Once the quest is completed, the Auction feature becomes permanently available at The Kapé Grand Hotel in the New Herland District. After unlocking it, you can bid on rare materials, anomaly items, cosmetics, and high-value collectibles using Fons in NTE.

The Auction House becomes available after finishing the “Deal? Deal!” story mission. This quest introduces players to The Kapé building and the city’s underground luxury trading scene. During the quest, you will eventually visit The Kapé Grand Hotel for the first time. After the story sequence ends, the Auction House unlocks as a permanent activity in Neverness to Everness.

Once the quest is complete, return to the hotel and interact with Iris near the entrance to enter the auction venue.

The Auction House is located inside The Kapé Grand Hotel in the southwest section of the New Herland District. The location is also tied to the Never-Ending Arachne area, so players who already fought the boss there can teleport back quickly.

Once you arrive at the hotel, enter the lobby and speak to Iris. She teleports you into the auction room where the bidding sessions happen. Inside the venue, you can interact with Iori to start viewing the active listings.

The building appears on the map with a gavel icon after the feature unlocks, making it much easier to revisit later.

The auction only becomes accessible after speaking to the correct NPCs. It’s pointless to walk around the hotel expecting a menu to open automatically.

How the Auction House in NTE Works

The Auction House uses a live bidding system against NPC buyers. Every item begins at a starting price, but the value rises as more bids are placed. To win an item, you have to remain the highest bidder until the countdown reaches zero.

Each time a new bid is made, the timer resets back to 20 seconds. This means the final few seconds can become competitive if multiple NPCs continue raising the price.

Once the auction ends, the item disappears regardless of whether you win or lose. There is no retry option for the same listing, so it is smart to decide your spending limit before bidding starts.

We noticed that intentionally placing a very high bid early can scare off competitors. This strategy works well for rare weekly items but can drain your Fons quickly if used carelessly.

Auction House Weekly Reset

Auction House listings refresh every week. Up to seven items can appear in each cycle, and the current lineup disappears after the reset.

The weekly reset happens every Monday at 5:00 AM server time. If you are planning to buy a specific item, it is better not to wait until the final hours because competition often becomes heavier near reset day.

How To Reach Mammon In Pink Paw Heist In NTE (Open Core Vault)

Opening Mammon's Core Vault in NTE Pink Paw Heist requires a rare Advanced Clearance Card and a Chaotic Core.

NTE also lets you manually refresh in some cases if you dislike the current item pool. This gives players another chance to search for rarer listings without waiting an entire week.

Because the inventory rotates constantly, it is smart to check the Auction House regularly, even if you are not actively bidding.

Best Items to Buy From the Auction House

One of the most valuable purchases early on is the Gluttonous Eye, along with Covetous Coins. These items are used to activate the Mammon anomaly furniture event, which opens the Realm of Greed weekly zone.

The reason these items are considered worth buying is that the reward payout can immediately return a large amount of Fons after defeating Mammon. Players can often recover their investment very quickly.

Upgrade materials are also excellent purchases. Character progression eventually slows down because of limited farming opportunities, so buying enhancement resources through auctions can save several days of waiting.

Some weekly items also include collectible decorations and rare utility objects. Even if they are not essential for progression, certain cosmetic pieces become difficult to obtain later due to the rotating inventory system.

Prices can vary depending on NPC bidding behavior, but several items tend to follow similar ranges. Gluttonous Eye usually starts around 3,000 Fons. Covetous Coin bundles can begin between 1,500 and 4,500, depending on quantity. Rare collectibles like Versey and Master Drama Core often exceed 6,000 or 7,000 Fons during competitive bidding.

Some of the most expensive items include Dream Path, A Glass of Water, and Butterflies to Flowers, which can reach hundreds of thousands of Fons.

Watching for NPC surrender dialogue is one of the easiest ways to save money. Once several buyers drop out, the remaining competition usually becomes predictable. Make sure to save your Fons before weekly resets because new inventory rotations can contain rare anomaly items or limited collectibles.
