How to Reduce Warrant Value in NTE

In Neverness to Everness, performing illegal actions like stealing vehicles, breaking government property, and attacking innocent civilians will increase your wanted level or warrant value. If this value increases to more than one star, players can end up in jail if they’re caught by the police.

Lower your warrant value to zero before you’re imprisoned, and law enforcement in Hethereau will not pursue you, and it will be as if you never committed a crime to begin with. The main ways to reduce warrant value are avoiding the police, visiting properties with anomaly furniture that has the ability to reduce wanted level, or eating Goodheart Crispy Mouse Cookies.

How to Lower Warrant Value in NTE

There are three ways to reduce your wanted level and lower your warrant value in Neverness to Everness:

1. Running Away from Police Officers
2. Anomaly Furniture
3. Goodheart Crispy Mouse Cookies

Running Away from Police Officers

Your wanted level in NTE gradually decreases the farther you run away from law enforcement. However, if a police officer sees you or is near your location, the level will remain stationary.

After your warrant value increases to more than one star in NTE, you’ll enter the “Wanted” status, with police officers chasing you to apprehend you and take you to prison. Your warrant value will gradually decrease over time the longer you remain out of sight of the police. I’ve found that climbing on top of buildings is an easy way to escape and wait for the heat to go down.

Anomaly Furniture

The Coocoo Alert anomaly furniture clears your warrant when you enter a property where it is active. This is a default anomaly furniture available in every player house, which means you do not need to spend any Fons on them.

Appraisers cannot fast travel while they are “Wanted” (1+ Star warrant value). Therefore, the only way to clear your warrant through the Coocoo Alert anomaly furniture is to either physically go to an owned property or to wait for your warrant value to go down below 1-star.

Goodheart Crispy Mouse Cookies

In NTE, Goodheart Crispy Mouse Cookies can be obtained by returning Lost Items to a Security Office or resolving City Violations. When consumed, these cookies significantly reduce a player’s warrant value. Each cookie reduces roughly 1-star worth of warrant value.

You can also use these cookies as currency to buy items from the police officers stationed at Security Offices by selecting the “I’ve got an extra Goodheart Crispy Mouse Cookie” option when talking to them.
