Sarada Uchiha is one of the strongest new-generation shinobi in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, boasting an overpowered Mangekyo Sharingan ability unlike anything Masashi Kishimoto has ever done before in Naruto. Through her Ohirume ability, Sarada summons black spheres that create a strong gravitational force proportional to their mass, which she can use to overwhelm and crush her enemies.

So far, Sarada has used Ohirume in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex thrice, first to defeat Shinju Ryu, then against Mamushi’s clones, and finally in a failed attempt due to exhaustion. Even so, Sarada wields one of the strongest Mangekyo Sharingan abilities, with other MS abilities paling in comparison to Ohirume.

8 Amaterasu

Ohirume’s Spheres Could Absorb Black Flames

Itachi Uchiha is one of the most iconic users of Amaterasu. This Mangekyo Sharingan ability is flame-based, and produces black flames said to originate from the underworld and burn targets with the intensity of the sun. True to its name, the Amaterasu cannot be extinguished by ordinary means and requires unconventional methods to counter it.

While Amaterasu’s flames are notoriously difficult to shake off, breaking free from Sarada Uchiha’s Ohirume is even more challenging once a target is drawn into one of her black spheres, as the constant gravitational pull makes escape far more difficult and demands overwhelming force. Sarada may even use the black spheres of Ohirume just to absorb the flames.

7 Object Manipulation Technique

Ohirume’s Gravity Control Beats Object Manipulation in Power

Even without an active Mangekyo Sharingan, Shin Uchiha can use the object manipulation technique. Object Manipulation is a telekinetic ability triggered by a mark that Shin Uchiha places on his targets, whether they are objects or living beings. This Mangekyo Sharingan ability is one of the simplest, as it only allows Shin to control marked targets at will.

As such, Sarada’s Ohirume far surpasses Shin Uchiha’s Mangekyo Sharingan ability in terms of difficulty, power, and control. Once Sarada generates the four black spheres of Ohirume, she instantly gains the ability to manipulate gravity and can even levitate like any ordinary Otsutsuki.

6 Genjutsu

Ordinary Genjutsu Might Be Ineffective to Sarada

Genjutsu is a staple Mangekyo Sharingan ability that almost every Uchiha wields in both Naruto and Boruto. To put it simply, genjutsu traps enemies in a high-level illusion that only those with superior Mangekyo Sharingan can hope to break free from, resist, or counter almost immediately.

While genjutsu is highly effective against non-Uchiha, it is almost ineffective against those with stronger ocular abilities. If Sarada Uchiha were to fall under a genjutsu, activating her Mangekyo Sharingan could potentially allow her to perceive and disrupt the illusion easily. With Ohirume at her disposal, she could probably deal more damage to the caster of the genjutsu.

5 Blaze Release: Kagutsuchi

Ohirume Deals Greater Damage Than Kagutsuchi

In a nutshell, Blaze Release: Kagutsuchi is just an improved and more versatile version of Amaterasu. This Mangekyo Sharingan ability is unique to Sasuke Uchiha’s right eye, allowing him to manipulate the flames of Amaterasu for both offensive and defensive purposes.

At will, Sasuke can amplify or diminish the black flames and even shape them to surround his body. Even then, Sarada’s Ohirume deals far greater damage to her opponents, as shown when she instantly crushed Shinju Ryu’s body to nothing once fully unleashed.

4 Hinokagutsuchi

Ohirume’s Destructive Power Far Exceeds Hinokagutsuchi’s Applications

The Hinokagutsuchi mirrors Sasuke’s Blaze Release: Kagutsuchi in many ways. From how the technique allows Indra Otsutsuki to manipulate the flames of Amaterasu at will to its broader applications in combat, the Hinokagutsuchi requires an advanced level of control and power.

While an Otsutsuki wielded the Hinokagutsuchi, Sarada’s Ohirume is still a highly advanced technique in its own right. Manipulating black flames alone isn’t enough to overcome the gravity manipulation granted by Sarada Uchiha’s Ohirume ability. Even a Shinju clone like Ryu with immense regenerative abilities died instantly after being crushed by her spheres!

3 Blaze Release: Honoikazuchi

Ohirume Is More Versatile Than Honoikazuchi

Sasuke Uchiha can use Blaze Release: Honoikazuchi even without a Mangekyo Sharingan, as shown in the anime. Whether this is an inconsistency or not, the fact that he can use it with a regular Sharingan suggests that the technique may not be as demanding or powerful as other Mangekyo Sharingan abilities, including Sarada’s Ohirume.

With Blaze Release: Honoikazuchi, Sasuke can surround himself with the flames of Amaterasu while approaching his target. Once he makes contact, Sasuke can manipulate the flames into spikes, using them to impale his opponents in the process. While Blaze Release: Honoikazuchi is lethal, it still requires Sasuke to get close enough to the target first, unlike Sarada Uchiha, who can draw opponents toward her spheres as long as they remain within her visual range.

2 Susanoo Great Fireball Technique

Ohirume Is More Difficult to Repel and Avoid Than Susanoo’s Fireballs

Sasuke Uchiha’s Susanoo has access to several techniques, including Great Fireball, which allows him to unleash multiple fireballs and expand them to the size of Tailed Beast Bombs when attacking his opponents. He can also use it directly on the sky to summon lethal thunderclouds.

However, the Great Fireball Technique is relatively easy to repel, as it does not detonate upon impact, giving targets the opportunity to defend against or redirect it. Compared to Sarada Uchiha’s Ohirume, which continuously prevents targets from escaping once they are caught, the Great Fireball Technique offers a considerably higher chance of survival when faced in combat.

Ohirume Wins in a Power-Based Matchup

Shisui Uchiha’s Kotoamatsukami is one of the strongest yet underrated Mangekyo Sharingan abilities in Naruto. In essence, Kotoamatsukami allows Shisui to cast a powerful genjutsu on his victim without them realizing they are under an illusion. Once the technique takes effect, Shisui can manipulate the target at will.

However, its long cooldown is one of Kotoamatsukami's biggest drawbacks. In a battle between Sarada Uchiha and Shisui, the outcome will largely depend on who manages to activate their Mangekyo Sharingan ability first. In terms of raw destructive power, Sarada Uchiha’s Ohirume clearly comes out on top.
