The sequel to Simon McQuoid's 2021 Mortal Kombat reboot continues the story of Earthrealm’s fighters, who are now joined by Johnny Cage and drawn into a violent new conflict against Shao Kahn. McQuoid returns to direct after helming the previous film, while Karl Urban joins the cast as Johnny Cage. The expanded cast now also includes Adeline Rudolph as Kitana and Tati Gabrielle as Jade.
