Adventure Club minigames are rare in Monopoly GO, so whenever a new one arrives, players get excited. The last one we got was Scottie’s Big Night a few months back. And since then, a lot of people have been waiting for another Adventure Club event to return. Well, the wait is finally over, because Monopoly GO has now released a new minigame called Wonderland Adventures.

If you want to make good progress in the event, you’ll need to collect plenty of tokens and understand how the minigame works. How to Play Wonderland Adventures Monopoly GO?

When you first enter Wonderland Adventures, Monopoly GO will ask you to join a team. Unlike some other events, it cannot be played solo at all. You need a full team of five players to participate.

If you already have active friends who play regularly, it’s best to team up with them. But if you don’t, the game also allows you to invite random players through the plus icon. One useful thing here is that you can check a player’s net worth before adding them. I’d recommend picking players with a higher net worth when possible because they are usually more active and more likely to contribute during the event.

Wonderland Adventures Monopoly GO has three levels in total. Every level has its own set of tasks to complete. For that, tycoons will be playing a card-based minigame throughout the event.

The way it works is simple once you play a few rounds. You’ll see some cards, each with a number on it. Under every card, there’s also a token cost. That tells you how many tokens you need to spend to pick that card. After choosing a card, the game will reveal two more cards with numbers on them. Your goal is to have the total of those two cards beat the number on the card you picked earlier. If you manage to do that, you win the round and earn points toward the current task.

Naturally, this makes lower number cards feel like the safer option most of the time. They cost fewer tokens to pick, and they are much easier to beat with your two drawn cards. Bigger numbers are riskier since they cost more tokens and are harder to match, but they also give more points when you win.

So it depends on how you want to approach the event. If you have a decent amount of tokens, going for higher numbers can pay off. But personally, I’ve had better luck playing it a bit safer.

Wonderland Adventure Card Effects in Monopoly GO

There are also cards with different special effects that can seriously help you. Some of the important ones are:

On Fire Card Effect

It rewards you for building a win streak by giving you an extra card in every round. Since you are drawing more cards, it becomes much easier to beat the required total.

Ice Cold Card Effect

The Ice Cold effect gives extra points to your card total for that round. I’ve had a few rounds saved by this effect already.

Shuffle Card Effect

It does exactly what you’d expect. It reshuffles your deck and changes the cards available in your next draw.

How to Get More Compasses for Wonderland Adventures Monopoly GO

There are several ways to earn more tokens for the Wonderland Adventures minigame:

Participate in Other Events

This is the best way to earn more Compass tokens. Alongside the Wonderland Adventures minigame, Monopoly GO has also released a new solo event called Beanstalk Bonanza. 19 of its milestones give Compass tokens. In total, players can win 136 tokens by beating the event.

Dailies

Your daily Quick Wins are another easy source of tokens. These are simple tasks like rolling the dice a certain number of times or completing a Shutdown or Bank Heist.

Free Rewards

Don’t skip the free rewards in the shop. They refresh regularly and sometimes include Compass tokens along with dice and cash.

What’s the Best Strategy for Wonderland Adventures Monopoly GO?

• The biggest mistake in Wonderland Adventures is spending tokens without thinking. It’s really easy to waste them on random chests, but you will get more progress if you stay disciplined with how you use them.
• When it comes to choosing cards, lower numbers are the better pick most of the time. They cost fewer tokens and are easier to win with. Higher numbers can be tempting because of the bigger rewards, but they also make it much easier to lose a round and waste tokens.
• Take advantage of the special effects. When you get On Fire, it’s best to choose lower-number cards and keep your streak going. Ice Cold is the opposite situation, where you can afford to take slightly bigger risks because of the bonus.
