Mina the Hollower: How to Use Mirrors and All Mirror Locations

As you start to get deeper into Mina the Hollower, you'll start to find several mirrors around each major area, and if you're like me, you might be wondering what the heck you're supposed to do with these. Can you go inside them? Is there a secret switch to "turn them on"? Are they just there for set dressing? It took us a while to figure out how the mirrors in Mina the Hollower work, and we'll give you the rundown.

Just be cautious, as we might have to go into late-game spoilers when explaining what the mirrors are for. First, we'll show you how to get inside the mirrors, and then we'll go into more details below.

How to Walk Into Mirrors in Mina the Hollower

Without going into too much detail, you can walk inside the mirrors in Mina the Hollower by pressing up on the directional pad towards the mirror for a few seconds. Don't press any other buttons -just keep walking, and you'll eventually get taken inside to an area called Astral Orrery.

Now, you won't need to progress further into Astral Orrery until you've turned on the five generators in Septemburg, Bone Beach, Queensbury Crypt, Nox's Bayou, and Coltrane Peak. This spacey astral section is where you'll head last.

In Astral Orrery, you won't be able to progress until you "activate" some of the mirrors in each region. Each mirror is color-coded to panels and blocks in Astral Orrery, and depending on the mirrors you choose to head into first, you might only need to activate three of them, instead of all five.

Every Mirror Location in Mina the Hollower

Radiant Manor Foyer (Grand Hall)

One of the first big mirrors you'll find in Mina the Hollower is in the Radiant Manor's Grand Hall in Ossex. It's north of the main town center, so it's hard to miss.

Queensbury Crypt: Statue Head Hall (Plundered Cache)

Bury underneath the section to the right of the second statue in the images above to find the Queensbury Crypt mirror.

Nox's Bayou: Moonlit Path (Western Edge)

Defeat Mock Moon on the Moonlit Path in Nox's Bayou and then head north to find the mirror.

Septemburg: Crow Town (Farm House)

Bone Beach (Worm's Back) - Infested Tent

Coltrane Peak (Icebound Cavern)

A few screens after the Rail Yard, you'll come across a small area called Icebound Cavern. Enter the room on the right by burrowing underground to find the Coltrane Peak mirror.
