During Sony's State of Play, Arc System Works revealed the latest trailer for Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, highlighting the villain team on the roster known as Knights of Doom. With its August release date rapidly approaching, Arc System Works has been revealing new details about Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls almost on a monthly basis. As expected, June's reveal was centered squarely on Dr. Doom's specific team.

Anticipation has continued to build for the game as Arc System Works has continued to reveal the full roster for Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, and they're not content to just pull the familiar faces. Already, Marvel Tokon has added some deep-cut characters, like Danger and is giving some less familiar heroes a chance to shine, like Magik, Shuri, and Peni Parker to name a few. The mix of established and fresh faces on the roster so far is proving to be a hit with many fans and the reveal of the core villain team is no doubt about to keep the conversation going.

Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls Reveals the Fighting Avengers and New Characters

Arc System Works releases the newest trailer for Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, revealing new story elements, the next hero team, and new characters.

Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls Reveals Knights of Doom

The latest Marvel Tokon trailer revealed the penultimate team for the launch roster, headlined by Victor Von Doom. As many fans came to learn, Dr. Doom's team is the default villain group and speculation has continued to swirl about the other 3 roster spots. As it turns out, fan favorite character Magneto is also part of the base roster, alongside two classic Spider-Man villains. While many fans seemingly figured out that Carnage was part of the team, the last spot went to Green Goblin, complete with his flyer and pumpkin bombs.

According to the blog post, each character on this team has unique traits. Magneto is able to turn each stage into a weapon, utilizing surrounding objects on the map to hurl them at his opponents. The thrown debris is shattered and remains on the stage to further enhance his abilities. For Tokon, this is the Norman Osborn version of Green Goblin and is a character that excels with high-speed movement thanks to his glider along with a suite of projectile weapons to harass his opponents. Finally, Carnage is able to not only transform his arms into weapons, as fans would expect, but when he lands hits, he causes enemies to enter a temporary “symbiote-infested” state. This empowers Carnage to deal more damage and drain the enemy's health.

Alongside the team reveal, the trailer and blog post also confirmed a Night variation of the New York map and is packed with references and Easter eggs for players to discover. The trailer also gave fans their first look at The Champion, the game's ultimate villain and a character that comic fans should be familiar with. Arc System Works teased that eagle-eyed players may find even more details with his sunglasses and belt buckle.

As for what's next, Arc SYstem Work confirmed there's just one team left to reveal before Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls launches in August. As fans have known, it's a team headed by Robbie Reyes aka Ghost Rider, and according to recent teases, it'll be a team comprised of outlaw-style characters. Fans have speculated it could include members of the Midnight Suns, Blade, Moon Knight, or even Deadpool, though for now, it only remains speculation. It the current trend holds, fans should probably expect a reveal sometime in July, though there could be something sooner as Marvel TOkon's latest build will be available at Evo 2026 in Las Vegas on June 26.
