How to Get Schemas in Marathon (& What They Are)
- Schemas can be found in-game through containers at random.
- Schemas can also be purchased from the Reward Pass for 20 to 30 Silk.
Schemas can occasionally be found in containers in any map at random, or through the Reward Pass for 30 Silk. Schemas can usually be worth extracting with (or purchasing), depending on their unique description. When finding a Schema, be sure to read the description to see what it provides you with.
A Schema is a valuable that will be sold upon exfil, and it provides you with 3 unlocks for specific gear listed in the Schema itself. For instance, the one shown above provides us with x3 V85 Circuit Breaker Shotguns, which we will have to purchase.
Schemas are not just for weapons. You can also find Schemas for Implants and Cores, so keep a lookout and check those descriptions!
How to Use Schemas in Marathon
- Exfil or purchase a Schema.
- Enter the Armory.
- Locate the right side of the screen to find the "Schema" blueprints.
Schemas are automatically exchanged when you exfil or when purchased from the Reward Pass. To find your Schema, enter the Armory from the main menu and look to the right side of the screen, where you will find the Schemas tab.
Schemas are essentially weapon blueprints that you can purchase with Credits, but with a limited amount. Schemas are finite, meaning once you spend the hefty Credits (usually around 15,000) to purchase the weapon, you will only have 1 or 2 more to purchase before your exchange runs out.
