How Many Players/Teams Are There in Marathon?
When you drop into a match with Team Fill or in a Squad, you can expect to find at least 15 players, depending on the map you're currently in. Each map has its own number of players that can spawn when you're in a trio, and here's what we know:

How Many Teams Spawn in Permiter?
- Perimeter has 15 players, with a total of 5 teams (trios).
How Many Teams Spawn in Dire Marsh?
- There can be a total of 6 teams (trios) that spawn across Dire Marsh, which means there will be 18 players competing on the same map.
How Many Teams Spawn in Outpost?
- There can be a total of 4 teams (trios) that spawn in Outpost. That's up to 12 players in squads.
How Many Teams Spawn in Cryo Archives?
- Cryo Archives has not currently been released. As such, we're not sure how many players can spawn here. However, we expect it to be the most dangerous map yet, so watch this space.
For PvP players, hunting them to make the whole map feel relatively safe might seem like a good idea, but wasting time on a hunt means other teams are extracting with valuable loot.
Rook will spawn into Trio matches already in progress, and he's not been accounted for in the numbers here.
How Many Solo Players in a Match in Marathon?
If you're dropping into a match as just a solo player (No Fill), then you can expect around 6-8 players per match. These players should always be in a solo queue, but that's not confirmed. As always, take extreme caution when venturing through the maps, as UESC aren't the only hostiles.
