The change in gameplay once Leon takes over is pretty dramatic and will create a more action-focused pace. Here's what to think about as you are exploring the ruins of Raccoon City East.
Combat Credits
Unique to Leon, you can now earn combat credits from every kill as well as from finding Tracking Models. These credits are incredibly valuable as they can be used to purchase new weapons, armor, a case upgrade, and ammo, as well as weapon upgrades by visiting the Supply Box at Central Camp. As you are exploring each of the areas in East Raccoon City, be sure to return to the Supply Box often as it can provide you with many advantages over the slew of tough foes you'll face here.
Hanging Item Boxes
Also unique to Leon are the hanging item boxes. These can contain a variety of items and materials that are useful in keeping your ammo and grenades stocked. As you explore the area, don't forget to look up so you don't miss a single item box.
