Code Vein II expands on its predecessor with a much larger open world, new items to uncover, and a dedicated jump button! It adopts many of the innovations seen in FromSoftware's Elden Ring to provide a more open-ended Soulslike experience.
That includes scavenging the open world for hundreds of unique items and upgrades. While exploring Magmell Island and the mainland regions, keep our interactive map handy to locate useful item boosters, formae, regional upgrades, and more!
How To Unlock The Map
Map progression in Code Vein 2 is tied to map jammers. True to their name, these enemies obstruct map information with a lingering fog of war, denoted by purple circles on your map. Defeating them will reveal the local terrain, nearby items, and full dungeon layouts. You can find them in the open world and certain dungeons.
Defeating every map jammer in the open world will grant the "Touring the Frontier" achievement/trophy. You do not need to defeat map jammers found in dungeons to unlock it.
