A LEGO fan manages to create a beautiful build for the iconic Pokemon Dratini from one set only, the 3-in-1 Beautiful Dolphins. LEGO is one of those hobbies that can be much better in one's adult years, as it's easier to purchase one's favorite sets than it is to hope for them to be given by friends and family as gifts when growing up. Regardless of age, it's a hobby that rewards creativity for those who dare stray from a certain set's instruction book and instead build whatever they want.
There will allegedly be a huge wave of LEGO Pokemon sets released in Summer 2026, specifically, on August 1. The partnership so far has been extremely successful, but there are only a handful of different Pokemon represented with LEGO bricks. Dratini, Dragonair, and Dragonite are allegedly not part of any 2026 release for the collaboration, despite their popularity within the community, but a clever Dratini build could keep fans occupied in the months leading up to the next releases.

More LEGO leaks surface online, with one detailing three all-new, surprising Pokemon sets coming in Summer 2026.
Custom LEGO Pokemon Dratini Build From 3-in-1 Dolphin Set
A Reddit user by the name of Willing_Rip_6838 shared a post on the platform with several pictures of a LEGO Dratini build made with pieces exclusively from the LEGO Creator 3-in-1 Sea Animals: Beautiful Dolphins set from January 2026. Dratini is a seahorse-looking Pokemon already, and the set normally features a seahorse build among the three available in the instruction book, but Willing_Rip_6838 managed to make it very realistic and accurate nonetheless.

In fact, the build includes Dratini's little horn on the forehead, good proportions for the head and body, the Pokemon's fins at the sides of its head, and some seaweed and seafloor sand as the base. Willing_Rip_6838 also made the instructions to recreate the set available on their Rebrickable profile under the name of stimulant_6 at the cost of $6. This makes the build entirely reproducible with just the base set, which normally costs $49.99 on the official website, but it's currently on sale at $39.99 on Amazon.com. Another fan transformed LEGO's Beautiful Dolphins set into a Millennium Falcon, proving that it can be quite versatile.
As far as Pokemon sets go, Dratini, Dragonair, and/or Dragonite could come in the future, even if they are not part of the 2026 waves. Recent leaks detailed even more Smart Play LEGO Pokemon sets for 2026, including the likes of Jigglypuff, Gengar and Cubone, Charmander and Geodude, and some interesting surprises, like Mew, Bidoof, and Garchomp. There are even more sets leaked so far for 2026, such as one for Munchlax and even one for Croagunk, but there has been no official confirmation so far.

However, recent leaks showcased the LEGO Pokemon Arcanine set for Summer 2026 in its original box, which makes this specific leak and all the other linked ones very credible. Images of the boxes for the Jigglypuff, Gengar and Cubone, and Charmander and Geodude Smart Play sets have also leaked online. Fans interested in more Pokemon sets will have to wait for official announcements, which may come in the next few weeks, given their leaked release date of August 1, 2026.
