This impressive accomplishment was completed using a small number of bricks, and the final result has received overwhelming praise from both LEGO and Pokemon fans online.
While Pokemon fans had to wait decades, the popular media franchise finally partnered with LEGO at the end of 2025. This deal greenlit the first official LEGO Pokemon sets for production, much to the excitement of gamers and collectors. The initial wave was released on February 27 and included sets of Pikachu, Eevee, and the final evolutions of the Kanto starters, providing options at different price points. There was also the Mini Pokemon Center set for LEGO Insiders, and the Kanto Region Badge Collection came as a bonus for those who bought the Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise set during the week following its release.
Pokemon Fan Designs LEGO Versions of Regirock, Regice, and Registeel
While official Pokemon LEGOs are now on the market, that has not stopped the community from creating impressive original creations. One of these projects featured the Legendary Regi Trio and was designed by Reddit user 15_Silver_Points. As noted on their Reddit post, they used BrickLink Studio to design LEGO versions of Regirock, Regice, and Registeel. Impressively, the models were completed using only 157. Specifically, Regirock contained 68 pieces, Regice 48 pieces, and Registeel 41 pieces.
Despite this small number of bricks, 15_Silver_Points managed to nail the look of the Legendary Pokemon. Each of the designs matched the typing associated with the Pokemon and included their iconic eyes. According to the creator, Regirock was the most enjoyable to build due to the LEGO bricks matching the design "perfectly." It is worth noting that no custom pieces were used in the designs, and a Brendan minifigure was included with his starters as an extra bonus.
Unsurprisingly, these LEGO designs have caught the attention of fans on the LEGO subreddit. Introduced in the Gen 3 Pokemon games, the Regi Trio have become popular with fans, spurring gamers to build impressive tributes like this one from 15_Silver_Points. In the case of these LEGO designs, more than 1.9K users have already upvoted the post, with some leaving encouraging messages to the creator. In addition, some wondered what Shiny versions of the LEGO models would look like. Fortunately, 15_Silver_Points said that they were considering making these alternate versions.
