Images of another LEGO Smart Play Pokemon set that includes a Smart Brick have surfaced online. The leak dispels recent concerns that only one of LEGO's upcoming Pokemon Smart Play sets would include the company's latest gadget.
LEGO's Pokemon theme officially launched in January 2026, around the same time the Danish toymaker formally unveiled its new Smart Play line. While the two product families have yet to intersect, recent leaks suggested that more than half a dozen Pokemon sets compatible with the company's sensor-equipped bricks were in the works for the second half of the year. However, past insider reports indicated that many of them would merely support the Smart Play platform without shipping with a Smart Brick, which would be sold separately.
Another Zelda LEGO Set Coming in 2026, Could Be Huge
LEGO is reportedly preparing to release its third-ever set based on The Legend of Zelda, which may be another fairly large model.
Leaked Jolteon vs Charizard LEGO Set Includes Two Smart Bricks
Those concerns have now been dispelled by the Brick Tap community, which recently shared the first look at the upcoming Charizard vs Jolteon Ultimate Battle LEGO set through two product packaging images. Identified by set number 72167, the leaked model is listed as including not one but two Smart Bricks. Four Smart Tags are also said to be part of the package, along with one charger, according to the back of the leaked box. The charger can accommodate two bricks simultaneously.
72167 Charizard vs Jolteon Ultimate Battle is the second Pokemon set from the Danish toymaker purported to include at least one Smart Brick. The first one leaked online in December 2025, when industry sources reported on the existence of a Pikachu-shaped house set that LEGO was planning to equip with a Smart Brick. Subsequent reports suggested that this set would be officially called Pikachu's Training House and retail for $69.99. The Pikachu house is believed to have 400 pieces, while the newly leaked Charizard vs Jolteon Ultimate Battle packaging clearly reveals a piece count of 751. The latter set could therefore feasibly retail for around $140, considering it also ships with two Smart Bricks rather than just one.

All 19 sets are expected to release in August 2026.
The first product packaging images of several other Smart Play Pokemon sets from LEGO have also leaked online throughout spring 2026. The recently sighted products include 72159 Jigglypuff Concert, 72166 Cubone and Gengar's Spooky Showdown, and 72157 Charmander and Geodude's Cavern Clash. None of them will include Smart Bricks, though all will ship with at least one Smart Tag, according to their leaked box images.

LEGO's next wave of Pokemon sets is expected to reach store shelves on August 1, 2026. Some of the upcoming products are therefore likely to be announced soon, possibly by the second half of June, to allow for a sufficient pre-order period one would expect from the company's major releases. LEGO's recent Smart Play Star Wars sets stirred up some controversy by omitting Smart Bricks from most of their most popular products, but it remains to be seen whether their Pokemon counterparts will repeat that mistake.
