The Riddler has always been one of Batman’s smartest and most annoying enemies, especially throughout the Arkham games, where players had to solve countless puzzles, riddles, and challenges scattered across Gotham to track him down and finally send him to jail.

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight does a great job adapting that same idea by featuring several tricky but enjoyable puzzles spread throughout each district of Gotham. Completing these challenges is important if you want to fully clear a district, gather more collectibles, and get one step closer to uncovering Riddler’s secrets in LEGO Batman Legacy. The guide below goes over the coordinates and image locations for every puzzle while also explaining how each one works and how to solve it.

  • First Room: Grab the bear and place it on the left podium.
  • Second Room: Grab the candles and place them on the right podium. Then go up the stairs on the left to grab a lamp and place it on the middle podium. After this, break the boxes on the right and grab the head with the hat, then place it on the left podium.
  • Third Room: Grab the music box from the left side of the room and place it on the right podium. Bring the lamp from the previous puzzle room and place it on the left podium.
  • This will open the cage in the final room.

A Calculated Move

  • You need Nightwing unlocked for this.
  • Break the box on the roof to find an energy source, grab it, and head downstairs.
  • Place it inside the machine.
  • Break the box on the far left next to the large obstacle that can be destroyed using your car.
  • There is another energy source here that needs to be placed in the second machine on the left.
  • Return to the roof and break the machine to rebuild it correctly.
  • Now use Nightwing’s weapon to reroute the power and open the cage.

Pixel Perfect

  • The cage is connected to multiple wires leading to “?” symbols with targets on each side.
  • You need to hit the targets in a way that forms a perfect “?”.
  • There are three "?" in total, one of which is hidden behind some boxes.
  • After completing all three, the cage will open.

Water Ya Watin’ For?

  • You need Robin unlocked for this.
  • Pry open the handle so you can place the energy source located on the right into the machine.
  • Switch to Gordon and use his gadget to stop the water flow, which will launch the Riddler Cube outward.

Grounded

  • The entire area is covered in electric lines, making it dangerous to walk across.
  • Nearby is an air vent that you can use to glide upward onto the structure beside the second set of electrical lines.
  • There is a switch here that you can stand on to disable the electricity.
  • Once the power is off, grab the cube.

Deep Dive

  • You will find a green button tile inside a tower-like structure.
  • Climb to the top and drop down through the opening to activate the tile and descend to the bottom.
  • Climb the ladder and collect the cube.

Lift: Off

  • While facing the building with multiple missing energy sources, follow these steps carefully.
  • First, remove the energy source from the roof of the building and place it inside the elevator.
  • Next, remove the energy source from the roof of the building on the right and return to the elevator.
  • With the energy source in hand, ride the elevator up twice and place it in the machine on the left.
  • Head back down and remove the energy source from the main source on the left.
  • Ride the elevator up three times and place the energy source into the machine on the right.
  • Go back down once more and remove the energy source from the elevator.
  • Finally, place it into the main source on the left to power the entire structure.
  • You can now grapple to the top and drop to collect the cube.
  • Pull the switch to begin a target shooting challenge where you must avoid hitting the X targets.
  • The X targets will appear on the 3rd, 6th, and 8th shots.

Sunken Treasure

  • You need Catwoman unlocked for this.
  • Use Batman’s gadget to pull the handle.
  • Switch to Catwoman and strike the object on the right to raise a platform on the left containing the lever.
  • Place the lever and grab the final cube.
