How To Access Towers in LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight
As you come across a Tower and notice the locked icon on the map, you might think there is some hidden puzzle or secret method required to access it, but that is not the case. These Towers are directly tied to story progression and specifically require Batgirl to unlock them.
Batgirl joins the team at the start of Chapter 4 and, after completing her introductory mission, becomes playable in the open world. As soon as you can freely control Batgirl, return to the Towers scattered across Gotham. You can use her Batarang to hit the button located near the Tower, which starts a hacking minigame similar to several puzzle sections found in the story missions.
To complete the hack, simply navigate toward the center of the puzzle. Once completed, the Tower will activate and send a signal across the surrounding district. The main purpose of these Towers is to reveal collectibles throughout the district on your map, making collectible hunting significantly easier later in the game.
However, some collectibles still remain hidden even after activating a Tower. Certain items require additional story progression or unlocking specific traversal abilities before they properly appear on the map.
