While exploring Gotham in LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, you might notice that some districts show a higher Riddler challenge count on the map than the number of puzzles actually visible in the open world. This is because several Riddler Puzzle Rooms only become available later in the game after completing more riddles and progressing further through the story.
Unlike the smaller cage cube puzzles found throughout Gotham, these rooms are much larger and more complicated, often requiring specific characters and gadgets to solve. The guide below for LEGO Batman Legacy focuses on every Riddler puzzle found throughout East End, including their locations, images, and full puzzle solutions.

All East End Riddler Puzzles Solution
Dr. Crane Will See You Now
- You will need Batgirl unlocked for this puzzle.
- As Batgirl, use her hacking Batarang to move the crane on the right.
- Switch to Robin and insert his weapon into the crane to lower it and drop the energy source.
- Drop down to the road and use Robin’s hook to trace a line between the energy source and the compartment.
- This will lower the cage containing the cube.
- Head back up and use Robin’s weapon again to lower the crane, then grab the cage and bring it back up.
- Switch back to Batgirl and move the crane so the cage is positioned directly above the square plate.
- Swap back to Robin and insert the weapon once more to drop the cage onto the plate.
- This completes the Riddler puzzle.
Ramp-ifications
- This is one of the smaller Riddler puzzles in the game, but it can still be confusing at first.
- The main thing you need is the missing wheel for the ramp behind you, which is currently uneven.
- Look for a blue open container filled with debris and rocks nearby.
- The wheel is hidden between the rocks and can be picked up and carried back to the ramp.
- Once the ramp is levelled, call in your car and position it in front of the ramp.
- Use the car’s boost ability, which is Square on PlayStation controllers and X on Xbox controllers.
- After reaching the top platform, park the vehicle on the pressure plate to lower the cage.
Aqua-Batman
- Switch to Jim Gordon for this puzzle.
- Use his gadget to control and redirect the flow of water.
- Start by turning the wheel on the left and blocking the leaking water that appears.
- You then need to redirect the water toward the switches.
- As soon as one wire lights up, block that leak so the water can flow through a different pipe.
- Four switches in total need to be activated before the cage unlocks.
- Once all four switches are powered, you can collect the cube.
Penthouse Puzzle (Puzzle Room)
- Head into the room on your left and grab the Teddy Bear.
- Place it on the table to the left of the main puzzle room.
- Return to the same room and pick up the statue head with the helmet.
- Place it in the slot to the left as you enter the main puzzle room.
- Pick up the statue head with the purple hat located next to the Teddy Bear you placed earlier.
- Place this statue head onto the table.
- Grab the candle and place it in the far slot on the counter.
- Head upstairs and enter the room on your left.
- Switch to Batgirl and break the shelf to reveal a gap for her Drone.
- Fly the Drone through the gap to find a board containing the code.
- Scan the board to reveal the code.
- Enter the other room upstairs and hack the plate dispenser on the right side.
- Go to the terminal that requires a code and enter it to obtain the purple statue head.
- Take it downstairs and place it on the counter to the left.
- Pick up the music player from the washing machine and place it onto the plate dispenser.
- Finally, use Batman’s hook gadget on the clock to your left and build the mechanism.
- Turn the wheel until it displays the number 3.
- Press the button on the right to solve the puzzle.
