As of May 15, fans of KPop Demon Hunters can pre-order upcoming official trading card packs featuring the HUNTR/X girls and Saja Boys. The KPop Demon Hunters card sets are licensed by Netflix and manufactured by Kayou, a company known for producing branded collectibles for popular franchises like Naruto, Harry Potter, and My Little Pony.

Kayou has announced that the KPop Demon Hunters trading card sets will be available in two editions: Energy and Classic. The Energy edition includes eight cards per booster pack, while the Classic edition contains five. As for the card themes, the manufacturer says the designs are "narrative-driven," suggesting they will likely feature iconic scenes and outfits from KPop Demon Hunters.

The manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) for the standard five-card Classic booster packs is currently $1.99 USD, while the eight-card Energy editions retail for $4.99. Similar to Pokemon Trading Card Game sets, KPop Demon Hunters trading cards will also be available in "Collector Box" editions, which include between five and ten booster packs per box. On GameStop, the five-pack Collector Box is listed at $19.99, while the ten-pack version costs $39.99. While pre-orders currently appear to be limited to GameStop and Amazon, the cards are expected to become available through additional major retailers and marketplaces soon, including TikTok Shop, Best Buy, and Target.

The good news for hardcore fans of KPop Demon Hunters is that Kayou is already planning future waves of releases. According to the manufacturer, the trading card lineup will soon expand with limited-edition sets, exclusive collectibles, and additional activities. Currently, it appears that booster packs will hit the market under different series, including Gold, Pearl, and Platinum. However, it remains unclear how this apparent rarity system will work or how it will affect the cards themselves.

Fans of KPop Demon Hunters' expressive characters should know that Kayou's trading cards are not the first official merch for the IP. In fact, they are not even the first card game collection, since Hasbro already released a Monopoly Deal card game with the same theme, which is currently available at major retailers like Walmart for about $13 USD. Netflix has also partnered with several toy and apparel brands in the past to create other branded products, including The American Girl KPop Demon Hunters collection and a Funko collection featuring all the girls and Jinu, as well as the adorable Derpy and Sussie.

Fans of KPop Demon Hunters are still awaiting the promised sequel, and Kayou's trading cards could help keep them occupied until its anticipated release. The animated movie has been a major success for Netflix so far, and, according to the Los Angeles Times, its launch contributed about 17% to the streaming service's revenue back in 2025. Now, through its partnership with Kayou, Netflix is once again stepping into a major market that could prove highly profitable. Interest in trading cards is high, with the industry projected to generate roughly $17 billion USD by 2035 (via Yahoo Finance). It remains to be seen how much of that market Netflix and Kayou can capture with the upcoming KPop Demon Hunters trading card sets.
