Jujutsu Kaisen: 9 Sorcerers That Could Survive The Golden Age Of Sorcery

Over the years, fans have been introduced to quite a lot of powerful sorcerers in the world of Jujutsu Kaisen. The author has incorporated several amazing powers into his battle system, and these powers are what make these incredible sorcerers special. While the sorcerers in the modern era that fans have seen are all quite powerful, most of them pale in comparison to the sorcerers that existed long ago, during the Golden Age of Sorcery. During this era, sorcerers were at an entirely different level, and this was because they got to test their skills against Sukuna on a daily basis, which helped them sharpen their skills even further.

While most modern sorcerers do not fare well when compared to their ancient counterparts, there are some who would do exceedingly well in the age of sorcery as well.

9 Hiromi Higuruma

Hiromi Higuruma is one of the rookie sorcerers that fans saw in JJK in the Culling Game arc. He received his cursed technique after Kenjaku remotely activated Idle Transfiguration, and he was certainly one sorcerer that surprised most fans. Despite having cursed energy for just a few months, he was able to develop very complex abilities as if they were a piece of cake.

He was able to attain a Cursed Technique and make full use of it in battle, and he even managed to reverse-engineer barrier techniques and develop a Domain Expansion. If that wasn't enough, he even gained Reverse Cursed Technique, as well as Domain Amplification, all within a span of 2 months. This was tremendous growth, such that Sukuna compared him to Gojo in this department. Had he been allowed to test his skill in the Golden Age of Sorcery, he would have become a tremendously powerful sorcerer.

8 Megumi Fushiguro

• Domain Expansion: Chimera Shadow Garden

Megumi Fushiguro is one of the most powerful sorcerers in JJK, at least when it comes to potential. Megumi reached a very high level of strength by the time of the Culling Game arc. However, his true potential is still unfulfilled. He has the power of the 10 Shadows Technique, as well as a half-baked Domain Expansion.

If Megumi could test his skill against the sorcerers of the olden times, he would certainly have beaten quite a lot of them and gotten even stronger. If Megumi fulfills his potential, there are not going to be many others than Sukuna who could face them in combat.

7 Kinji Hakari

Kinji Hakari is known to be one of the strongest modern sorcerers, and much of that is down to his incredible cursed technique where, if he lucks out using his Domain Expansion, he can technically become immortal for 4 minutes and 11 seconds. Hakari is tremendously overpowered, and while not the strongest of his era, he is a force to be reckoned with.

6 Aoi Todo

• Introduction Arc: Kyoto Goodwill Event Arc
• Cursed Technique: Boogie Woogie
• Domain Expansion: None

Todo is quite a brilliant sorcerer that fans saw quite a lot of in the early parts of JJK. In terms of talent, even Gojo considered him to be a prodigy. Todo was shown holding tremendous might up his sleeve, and despite his cursed technique being quite simple, he was still a force to be reckoned with.

Todo showcased his advanced mastery over Cursed Energy during his fight against Hanami, and later, even Mahito and Sukuna. He would certainly do well in the Golden Age of Sorcery, especially as even Sukuna respected him.

5 Maki Zenin

• Domain Expansion: None

Maki Zenin is a sorcerer who has successfully surpassed Toji Fushiguro by the end of JJK. Maki impressed even Sukuna greatly in battle, as she was even able to fight after she received two powerful Black Flashes from him.

Maki is immense as a fighter, and her Heavenly Restriction sees to it that her physical capabilities are unmatched. Maki would cause trouble for most sorcerers in the Golden Age of Sorcery, and that goes without saying.

4 Yuji Itadori

• Cursed Technique: Shrine, Blood Manipulation
• Domain Expansion: Unnamed Domain

Yuji Itadori is the protagonist of JJK, and certainly a character who has already made quite an impression on the fans. By the end of the original story, Yuji is far from his peak, but eventually, he gets even stronger.

Given that he's the main character, it goes without saying that Yuji would survive the Golden Age of Sorcery, and at the same time, manage to defeat several powerful sorcerers as well. In his prime, he is stronger than Sukuna.

3 Yuki Tsukumo

• Domain Expansion: Unnamed Domain

Yuki Tsukumo is a Special Grade Sorcerer, and that in itself is a confirmation of the fact that she would do incredibly well in the Golden Age of Sorcery. Her cursed technique is tremendous, as it allows her to add imaginary mass to herself as well as her Shikigami.

At the peak of her abilities, you can even create a black hole, which can destroy the entire world. If that wasn't enough, she also has a Domain Expansion, which fans did not get to see. For sure, the sorcerers of old times would be scared of her power.

2 Yuta Okkotsu

• Cursed Technique: Rika, Copy
• Domain Expansion: Authentic Mutual Love

Yuta Okkotsu is an incredibly powerful sorcerer that fans have seen quite a lot of in the Culling Game arc. His true potential was finally revealed to the fans here, and he impressed even against Sukuna. Yuta's power lies primarily in Rika, the cursed spirit that is always with him, and at the same time, his Domain Expansion, called Authentic Mutual Love, which, once again, is tied to Rika as well.

Essentially, Yuta can copy other cursed techniques and utilize them against his enemies. On top of that, he has tremendous cursed energy reserves, and overall, his skill with sorcery is absolutely immense.

1 Gojo Satoru

• Introduction Arc: Fearsome Womb Arc
• Cursed Technique: Limitless
• Domain Expansion: Unlimited Void

Of course, the strongest modern sorcerer, Gojo Satoru, would have a field day fighting against sorcerers of the old era. Gojo can only be matched by Sukuna, and all the others simply cannot compete against him. In fact, Gojo's technique is such that most can't even touch him in combat, which just goes to show his incredible level of skill and overpowered nature in combat.

If Gojo were born in an era where the strongest had to fight all the time to survive, perhaps he would've grown even stronger and developed newer techniques. In any case, he would absolutely dominate this era of sorcery.
