Hunter x Hunter Author Gives Fans A Major Update About The Manga

Yoshihiro Togashi's Hunter x Hunter manga is widely believed to be one of the best in the world. The series has managed to maintain an extremely high level of quality for decades, which is something that not every manga can boast of.

The only thing holding back Hunter x Hunter from hitting the same heights as One Piece, Naruto, and Dragon Ball is its consistency. It's not a hidden fact that Yoshihiro Togashi has been suffering from health complications for a long time. But he has been trying to get back to work.

Hunter x Hunter Manga Could Be Coming Back

Recently, Yoshihiro Togashi posted an update confirming that the manuscript for Hunter x Hunter Chapter 420 has been completed. This is not the first time that Togashi has shared new information regarding the manga. Some days prior to the current update, Togashi had shared another post in which he confirmed the manuscripts of four more chapters had been concluded.

Despite the chapters being completed, there has been no statement regarding the return of the Hunter x Hunter manga. One would hope that an announcement would be imminent after the latest news, but it seems that the return is still a few months away.

Hopefully, Togashi will soon share an update regarding the series.

Like Hunter x Hunter, Naruto Is Also Making A Comeback

Given the situation, there is absolutely no question that Hunter x Hunter will release a new chapter at some point in 2026. The only question is when. A lot of Hunter x Hunter fans are also eager to see the anime make a return.

While the anime's return looks a way off, a new Hunter x Hunter game called Nen X Survivor is in development. The game is slated for a 2026 release.

Aside from HxH, there is a possibility of Naruto making a return. The manga and anime both ended many years ago, but according to the most recent statement, the series will release four new episodes. It is rather shocking that the episodes are finally going to be released, since they have been getting delayed for several years now. Currently, the four episodes are set to premiere in late 2026.
