The 2026 nominees for the South African Film & Television Awards are out and now it's official: the best talent in Mzansi is streaming on Showmax, with 66 nominations awarded to #ShowmaxOriginals. Congratulations to the cast and crew of the feel-good small-town comedy Mince Jou Hare, as well as to dystopian horror feature film The Fix, scoring 11 nominations each. Catch Me A Killer, the true crime series based on Micki Pistorius, South Africa’s first serial-killer profiler, racked up 7 nominations, while the smash-hit Youngins scored 6, and is also up for Best Telenovela.
