Her passion for travel reporting started more than a decade ago when she began exploring the world as a diving instructor, witnessing firsthand how major world events have a direct impact on the travel sector. Lauren has worked as a translator for the Japanese and French languages, enabling her to provide readers with greater global cultural context in travel and tourism news.
When she is not writing or editing, she can often be found planning scuba diving vacations and heavy metal festival trips, as well as embarking on hiking excursions with her equally well-traveled (and very spoiled) dogs.

Nicole's lifelong passion for the U.S. National Parks began when she started making regular trips to some of America's most beautiful public lands in her youth. When she is not writing or editing, Nicole can be found tackling America’s scenic trails, taking a drive through national forest land in her home state of Utah, or lounging on the shores of mountain lakes.

Sunil Purushe is a travel writer, editor, and photographer who specializes in aviation, weather, and wildlife. His lifelong passion for travel has taken him to more than 20 countries. Having lived in five different U.S. states and pursued a career as a commercial pilot and flight instructor, he has extensively explored America's landscapes, small towns, and vibrant cities by road and by air. As a journalist and editor for TheTravel, Sunil reports on the airline sector, as well as breaking weather-related news.
When he is not writing, Sunil can be found navigating jungles, climbing mountains, or crossing deserts, camera in hand, searching for the perfect shot.

Jasmine began traveling as soon as she left school and hasn’t stopped since. Wanting to share her experiences with the world, she joined TheTravel as a features writer. She has since become an editor, editing long-form travel stories for TheTravel. Before working at TheTravel, Jasmine managed her own travel website, where she published stories and reflections about her extensive travels throughout Europe and Asia.
When she is not writing or editing, Jasmine can often be found exploring different cities around the world, immersing in the culture, and sampling the delicious food.
