Could we not mix Rogue-Likes with Rogue-Lites please? Thank you. I know that there are no base definition for rogue-likes. But it is generally turned based games that are built just like rogue, the bloody game the entire genre is inspired by? The whole world play a turn when you play a turn in a procedurally generate dungeon/world? No meta progression (like slay the spire and tboi), and the ability to finish the game in your first run if you are good enough. Rogue-lites just burrow couple things from rogue like the procedurally generated encounters and maps but not turned based (tboi) or turn based but not on tiles (balatro, slay the spire)
Next up is about who hurt you comment. As literally everyone has mentioned this is an obvious cheap Rage-bait attempt, and it is working since am writing all of this (darn you!) but the game isn't about enjoying pain and masochism. But rather enjoying watch your builds *work*, and having full freedom to do whatever build you want, interacting with different game mechanics and elements, mixing them together to make great world destroying spells, out-manuvering the game's NPCs by simply understanding how they move and their AI, and last but not least the fact that it is always fresh. Each run is different, you are either god-slayer who clears rooms in one turn, or get clapped by the said god and every room is just a matter of wether or not you could just survive and flee!
