Really hoping they take as much time as they need again, and hopefully don’t rush things on the last leg.

S2 was great at points but was waaaay too busy and the last 2 eps especially were a breathless sprint to the finish, characters be damned.

Love the score, and some of the songs are quite enjoyable, ESPECIALLY the one that plays during the climax of Episode 3.

That said I had to chuckle when every two episodes in a row opened with lengthy song montages. I understand they were stylistic highlights of S1 but they already feel more prevalent here.

I think video game writing has the potential for some truly classic stuff, really any medium using written or spoken language does. And we do have some examples of games whose writing transcends the expectations of the medium (RDR2, imo is a strong example)

That being said, it is my personal belief that, going by the history of the art form, video game writing has not been underestimated, but rather estimated fairly. The majority of the time the writing is serviceable at best and other times downright bad.
