The reason no one is talking about the Oscars yet is because 80% of the movies that will end up winning awards haven’t been released yet since Hollywood holds their award contenders to release as close to the nominations as possible.
Maybe I’m just cynical but it certainly seems like some of these indie titles announcing delays might just be trying to use the publicity around Silksong to get their names out there and get some free publicity while they’re at it.
