I'm not in the camp that all AI is bad. There's instances where it can help mundane workflows in vfx, say rotoscoping, sky replacements, removing something from a shot...

But why would an influential Hollywood director not collaborate with animators and graphic artists? That's the fun bit of the job.

It's amazing how hyped season 1 was, seemed everyone watched it and loved it, then somehow season 2 fumbled in such a dull non eventful way that no one just really cared about it or talks about the HBO show anymore.

Ocarina of Time is regarded as one of the best games of all time for a reason. The magic of it is in the fact that so much is left to the imagination. Even the N64 graphics, a limitation at the time, has aged (just like 8bit and 16bit pixel graphics) into an art style in of itself.

The remake does what exactly? Corny b-grade cutscenes like in the new Zelda games?

Unless they pull all stops and it's executed like a Ghibli game made by Rockstar or Naughty Dog... it's going to be impossible to come anywhere close to the 'masterpiece' level the original holds.
