Ocarina of Time is regarded as one of the best games of all time for a reason. The magic of it is in the fact that so much is left to the imagination. Even the N64 graphics, a limitation at the time, has aged (just like 8bit and 16bit pixel graphics) into an art style in of itself.
The remake does what exactly? Corny b-grade cutscenes like in the new Zelda games?
Unless they pull all stops and it's executed like a Ghibli game made by Rockstar or Naughty Dog... it's going to be impossible to come anywhere close to the 'masterpiece' level the original holds.
