W you literally have thousands to millions of short and indie RPGs, comming out every day if thats your thing. Likes of KCD are long because lot of people prefer that over playing and buying different games every day
PS games are now 10 years behind PC. On PC you could spend several lifetimes for ex. exploring entire virtual galaxy, leading armies of any warhammer faction, building a city of millions, fly, or soon drive, across your hometown, survive in a cultist infested wilderness, or even fight with real soldiers in a virtual recreation of a frontline if thats your thing. And majority of this for far less entry price. On other hand PS offers art and tailored experience, but those have been going worse, now no matter if its 20-ish hours semi open world game is set in ancient Japan or future space, it all feels like same disney/marvel slop, offten on top with morality lessons made by self important rich people nobody asked for.
Why so strong words, how is simply asking for updates "agressive"? These days we have Windows and drives that gets updated constantly and will degrade the game if its not updated too. This is exactly why is western game space slowly dying, paying customers are being called names, feedback mistaken for hate.

Criticized for a 'lazy dev cycle,' Peak devs remind players that 'any update is a bonus not a right'
