Pretty simple answer from an avid Nintendo fan and collector. I'm not buying any key card games. I would have purchased a few of these games physically otherwise.
I don't trust Nintendo on the longevity of digital "purchases." This is a problem Nintendo themselves created when they closed up the Wii U and 3DS eShops.

In Reply To @MxyAstro Yeah I am a Switch physical collector as well. I have looked at the Switch as the last actually physical console generation and that's why I went all in on physical.
I personally hate that putting a game in my Series X means waiting a few hours for a download to complete, and then patching, etc. It's a terrible experience. I doubt I will buy nearly as many games, physical or digital for Switch 2, firstly because the games will take up more space and I won't be able to have them all installed.

Maybe I'm in the minority on this one but I didn't need a new console. I'm not interested in playing the same games with the same mechanics as games I played ten years ago with a different name, prettier graphics, and an $80 price tag. Gaming is stale and it's not because of the graphics.
