See AllGTA 6's $100 edition is the most pre-ordered, says Take-Two boss
Everyone doing this is hurting gaming as a whole. They locked key gameplay behind the ultimate edition. That's a scary precedent to set. Of course since all you rubes still fell for their gambit, they have zero reason to not do it. You'll all buy Gamestop stock because of memes, but can't refrain from pre-ordering GTA 6 despite it being in your own, longterm self interests?!
Marvel's Spider-Man 2 players are getting rocked by the game's sweatiest challenge after Brand New Day
I literally just started Spiderman 2. I originally set it to off, but when completly off, your more prone to touch pavement (and stop swinging) at the low point of your swings. So I had to turn it on to at least 1. I think I have set to either 2 or 3 right now. I find that is good place. Just enough to nudge you away from anything that would destroy your flow, but not high enough that you lose that minute controls.
20 hours is actually the perfect length for a video game
Eh, I absolutely loved the game. But literally my only complaint/wish I had was that I wanted more. So I would have loved it to be longer. Also played it immediately on release, and played it blind, so I had no idea how close to the end I was. Like I kept seeing/hearing about the car and dirtbike in Q lab, thinking that, "Well I haven't used them yet (aside from that 2 min you kind of "use" the car), so there must be more to the story, because of course we get to use them, since the NPC's and PC keep mentioning them!“. Then the game ended, and I was heartbroken the game was over. Personally I like to get as close to $1 per hour of gameplay/enjoyment as possible (was a perfect formula when games were $40-50, as I feel games are their best when around 35-45 hours long).
Pokémon fans are cheering Target’s new tactic to sabotage card scalpers
Not necessarily. Lots of collectors won't sell unless they absolutely need the money. And that's also a poor strategy if you are trying to profit, since the entire market could collapse well before they "finish" collecting and try to sell.
Grogu looks like the only hope for Star Wars' future
I've been dying for movies or shows set in the Old Republic. I want to see a world in which Jedi's aren't in hiding, and the universe is lively and relatively prosperous. When Mandalorians and Sith were battling it out against the Jedi across the universe. The KOTOR games/story world in particular is so futile for good Star Wars content.
Forget extraction shooters, we just want a good FPS campaign
I wish we'd get a new Medal of Honor game. It's been forever, and would fit this niche you are talking about.
