One of my favorite parts of working with the Codex community is seeing things I never would have imagined. Pietro Schirano asked me to stop by the office, saying he’d made a bunch of cool things with GPT-5.6 Sol. I had no idea what to expect! First up: he turned his MacBook into an accordion, using the screen as the bellows. My face says it all! 💻🪗 And then he just kept going: • A privacy screen that follows your eyes, revealing only what you’re looking at while everything else stays blurred. • His own Game Boy Advance game, built with Codex and image generation. • A small language model trained from scratch on his own iMessages, right on his Mac. About 25 minutes end to end! Links to the other three demos in the comments. Days like this really make it feel like the only limit is your imagination!

The WebMCP Challenge is here. We’re teaming up with Cloudflare, Shopify, Vercel, Google Chrome, Render, and Netlify to see what you can build when people and AI agents work together. Introducing WebMCP support in the ChatGPT desktop app’s built-in browser. Your website exposes the tools; ChatGPT discovers and uses them directly on the live page. Your site controls which actions are available while people and ChatGPT work together. Build a new web app or ChatGPT Site, or add WebMCP to an existing site. GPT-5.6 is now available in Kiro, bringing our latest models into the workflows developers already use in production to plan, build, test, and review software. We worked with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to optimize Kiro and GPT-5.6 for stronger price-performance. On Terminal-Bench 2.1, GPT-5.6 Terra delivered an ~82% cost reduction per successful task when run in Kiro’s spec-driven development environment. https://lnkd.in/ghhyrJnn
