I've been using my Kiro Kantoku tool to manage my Kiro 👻 work more and more, and I'm now using it to make changes to the tool itself.Having a UI over all the CLI agent sessions has helped massively, but what if you could go a step further?! I've just added the ability to view all your Kiro Agents working inside your very own Kiro Haunted Office! Agents that are working are at their desk 💻 . Agents that are waiting for more work are chilling with some coffee ☕ Thought this was a fun way to visualise your Kiro team getting on with some work. The House of Kiroween never closes since I've been using Kantoku to manage the agents, I've been able to manage tasks that roll over a day or so, that I forget about, and can easily come back to. Combined with the new 1 million token context window on Sonnet and Opus, it's a great match! https://lnkd.in/eFn-AbP4 #kiro #claude #aws #agenticcoding

Nothing like AI confidently refactoring the wrong thing and burning your codebase down... Kiro CLI’s Code Intelligence uses LSP so your AI actually understands what it’s editing, same way your IDE does. • Search and batch lookup symbols in file • AST-based pattern search • Real-time error detection • Safe, codebase-wide refactors No more oops moments. Try Kiro CLI 👉 http://spr.ly/6040B6bC8A

A new, refreshed UX for the Kiro CLI just launched in experimental mode. Why experimental you may ask? We're proud of what we've built, but we want to get it right. By launching alongside the existing experience, you can try the new UX without disrupting your workflow. Your feedback will help us build an even better UX, so try it out and let us know what you love (or don’t). Install or update the Kiro CLI and enter kiro-cli —tui in the command line to try it. http://spr.ly/6042B6wSHY Darko Mesaroš

One of the more memorable experiences I've had recently while reporting a story was walking into a darkened studio in Seattle and finding a film crew huddled around a miniature set, manipulating action figures representing software devs, a ghost, and an "AI Slop Monster." It was a stop-motion shoot for Kiro by Amazon Web Services (AWS), and the crew was using AI in ways I hadn't seen before. Here's what they were working on: https://lnkd.in/gx3yGxAz For this week's GeekWire Podcast, I had a great time talking with Brice Budke and Zeek Earl of Seattle creative studios Shep and Packrat (the studio behind that Kiro shoot). Even if you're not involved in video directly, there are universal insights in their experience with AI. A few that stuck with me: - Brand fidelity creates unique challenges for AI. Unlike the random AI-generated content flooding the web, commercial work requires consistency. - Taste and intuition matter more than ever. Someone still has to have a point of view. AI can handle more of the analytical work, which frees up space to focus on ideas. - There's reason for optimism. If lower production costs can unlock more weird, niche, human creativity rather than just more generic content, AI could end up enabling visions that were previously impossible. - It's still chaotic. The tools are evolving so fast that every new project requires reassessing what's even possible that week. But that's part of the excitement. We've expanded access to open weight models already in Kiro. 👻 MiniMax M2.1, Qwen3 Coder Next, and DeepSeek V3.2 are now available to IdC users, joining those on Google, GitHub, and AWS Builder ID. We've also brought MiniMax M2.1 and Qwen3 Coder Next to AWS Europe (Frankfurt) region alongside AWS US-East-1 (N. Virginia), so you can run inference closer to your workloads. http://spr.ly/6041B6T8qt
