🎮 Unity Arcade Game – Playable Demo I recently published a playable demo of a 2D arcade-style game built in Unity, inspired by the simple but addictive mechanics of Flappy Bird. Systems implemented: • Player input & jump physics (Rigidbody-based) • Procedural obstacle spawning • Collision detection • Score tracking • Game state management (Start / Game Over / Restart) This project helped me better understand core gameplay loops and how simple mechanics can create engaging experiences. Try the playable demo: https://lnkd.in/dSN7etDb 📌 Demo is at the bottom of the page 💻 Press space bar to jump #Unity #GameDevelopment #GameDev

A few days ago, I shared a clip of the AI system I built for my 8 Ball Pool game in Unity. Now, I’ve taken the next step — real-time multiplayer is working using Photon Fusion. This video shows two players interacting in the same match with synchronized ball physics and turn-based gameplay. Key focus areas while building this: • Smooth synchronization of ball movement • Maintaining consistency across clients • Handling turn logic and shot validation • Minimizing perceived latency Multiplayer physics-based games are always tricky, especially when precision matters. This is still a work in progress, but getting this stage functional feels like a solid milestone. Would love your thoughts on: Movement sync quality Overall gameplay feel Any improvements you’d suggest for multiplayer stability #gamedev #unity #multiplayer #photonfusion #indiedev

“Sharing progress from my hyper-casual game prototype challenge.” Prototype 1/10 — Hyper Casual Game Built a stacking game prototype in 3 days as part of my 10-prototype challenge. Features included: • Core stacking gameplay • Unity Ads integration (banner + interstitial) • Remove Ads purchase option • Basic UI flow • Sound controls • Score saving The focus was building a complete monetizable prototype, not just gameplay. Available for licensing, customization, or client projects. #gamedevelopment #unity3d #mobilegames #indiegamedev #buildinpublic

Flashback to the very first iteration of "In Deep" - built in 2D using GameMaker Studio. This is where I started experimenting with underwater environments, player movement, and core gameplay systems. The project has since evolved into a 3D version in Unity, expanding on these ideas and bringing the world to life. 🎮 Excited to share clips from the 3D Unity version soon! #GameDevelopment #Unity #GameMaker #IndieDev #ComputerScience

A quiet signal in the Unity Gaming Report: The real competitive advantage in games is shifting from content production to world operations. For years we invested in engines to build bigger games. The next generation of studios will invest just as heavily in systems that operate those worlds — telemetry, AI-assisted pipelines, adaptive content, and live-ops infrastructure. When that stack is working well, a 30-person team can run experiences that used to require 300. That shift is only starting. #GameDev #GamingIndustry #LiveOps #AIinGames #GameTech #GenerativeAI #GameProduction #GDC https://lnkd.in/dut7z_8U

Iteration Over Perfection It’s true that in game development, there’s often an expectation of waiting for the perfect solution. The reality is that in Unity, prototypes and small iterations say much more than any conversation could. A simple working version reveals problems with gameplay, performance, and usability issues at an early stage – when these are still cheap to change. Delivering strong features involves improving something real, rather than designing something perfect. #Unity3D #GameDevelopment #ProblemSolving #Engineering #Unity

8 years ago, I started with Unity out of curiosity. Today, I’ve worked on Mobile Games, WebGL projects, Complex asset systems, Ad monetization setups, AI driven gameplay systems. The biggest realization? Unity is easy to start, but very hard to master. The real growth came from: Debugging things that made no sense Optimizing performance on low end devices Shipping real projects (not just tutorials) If you're starting out, focus on building, not just learning. #Unity3D #GameDev

5dprototyping gives solid insights for the entire team, yes, but they'll also kill the company faster than anything if these learnings aren't cheap enough Also I encourage internal hackatons, 1-2 days, couple of times per year.
