Plastic is all around us. From the air we breathe and the clothes we wear, plastic is in even more places than we realize. For our planet and for future generations, let's act NOW to #BeatPlasticPollution.
Plastic pollution is not just an environmental issue anymore. It has become a material problem at the root of modern industry. For decades, we’ve been asking: “How can we make plastics better?” But perhaps the real question should be: “Why are we still using plastic for things that were never meant to last?” At Corn Next, we believe the future is not about replacing plastic with another synthetic alternative — it’s about returning to materials that nature already understands. Single-use products should not outlive the ecosystems they come from. This is not just innovation. This is a shift in thinking. #BeatPlasticPollution #MaterialRevolution #NatureBasedSolutions
Important message by UNDP but honestly, we’ve been discussing this for years now. 🌍 Panels, reports, cocktails, funding rounds… Yet plastic continues to grow because most solutions are built for the top 1%, while 99% of real consumption happens elsewhere. At OURTH we chose not to stay in conversations. We chose to work on the ground where 60%+ of plastic leakage actually begins. ✔ Eliminating single-use plastic at source not post-waste ✔ Replacing it with affordable, scalable alternatives for mass adoption ✔ Building a circular ecosystem connecting vendors, waste pickers, and recovery ✔ Creating impact where every step saves environment, creates livelihoods, and generates revenue Because the truth is simple: If plastic is produced → pollution is guaranteed If plastic is eliminated → impact is immediate This is not about awareness anymore. This is about execution at scale. The world doesn’t need more conversations on plastic. It needs solutions that work for the 99%. OURTH is built for that reality. #BeatPlasticPollution #CircularEconomy #SystemChange #ClimateTech #PlasticFreeIndia #WasteToWealth #CleanIndia #NayaBharat

Plastic doesn't disappear; it just changes form. From our oceans to our bloodstream, the impact is real and deeply personal. Proper waste management systems and consistent public awareness are not optional extras; they are urgent necessities. Thank you UNDP for keeping this conversation visible. 🌍
Everyone wants to support impact—but capital follows structure, not stories. Plastic recovery requires capital—to fund collection systems, logistics, sorting, and recycling infrastructure at scale. Without sustained financing, recovery rates simply don’t increase. Institutional investors aren’t lacking interest in climate or circular economy assets; they’re lacking predictability, auditability, and compliance alignment. Environmental assets become investable when four elements are in place: • Standardized issuance • Verifiable, auditable impact (MRV) • Regulatory alignment (e.g. EPR frameworks) • Predictable, recurring cash flows In plastic recovery, this shift is starting to happen. When recovery is continuously verified and certified, it creates repeatable revenues, reduces volatility, and turns impact into something that can be underwritten. This is where the conversation changes: From “green initiatives” → to compliance-driven, yield-bearing assets Blockchain only matters insofar as it strengthens transparency, audit trails, and trust in the data. If we get this right, plastic recovery doesn’t rely on goodwill—it becomes a scalable asset class capable of attracting institutional capital and funding real-world infrastructure.
Plastic pollution is not just a global issue—it is a growing reality even in our rural communities in Bhutan. At Waiba Eco Dharma Works (WEDW), we are witnessing firsthand the challenges of plastic waste, especially the harmful practice of burning, which affects both health and environment. This poster reflects a simple but powerful approach: ✔ Stop burning plastic ✔ Start waste segregation ✔ Promote reuse and local solutions ✔ Create community-based collection systems We believe real change begins at the village level—with awareness, simple systems, and local participation. WEDW is committed to building plastic-free, clean, and sustainable communities, aligned with the vision of United Nations Development Programme and global climate action goals. We welcome collaboration, guidance, and support to scale this model across Bhutan. #PlasticPollution #Bhutan #Sustainability #CommunityAction #UNDP #ClimateAction #WEDW

UNDP must start create public awareness on this, by creating social media campaigns in different languages. One Earth One family One Future Pl check #greenbites #thooshan on the education campaign we do to create awareness
Important reminder. Plastic pollution isn’t just an environmental issue—it’s a behavioural and systemic failure. From oceans to our own bodies, its impact is deeply embedded. What stands out is that awareness alone isn’t enough—we need accountability (industry), action (policy), and adoption (individual habits). Reducing single-use plastics, strengthening waste management, and pushing for circular economy models are no longer optional—they’re urgent. Because beating plastic pollution is not about one day of action, but a shift in how we live, produce, and consume. 🌍♻️
