Quite the curious timing, considering that MercurySteam just released BoF on Steam, finally having a chance to actually sell the game to an audience (myself included, who had a blast playing it this weekend). Instead of firing the developers, who delivered a great product, you should have fired the people responsible for Epic's exclusivity deal...-Which is the singular reason why your game has failed in the past 2 years.

Sorry but this sort of news used to be rare, and now it's just a normalized, common occurrence. It always feels like companies never take accountability for messing up when it comes to planning ahead and securing a future for their employees. The ones making the decisions are never the ones to take a hit from said mistakes, it's always the employees who were loyal and worked hard for them. Statements like this just seem to fall empty. No matter how many times companies tell us that they will "help their employees" and "treat them with respect", the true respect comes from the actions of keeping them onboard, not throwing them away because it's the easier, more accepted option nowadays. The industry needs to do better.
