𝘼𝙙𝙙𝙞𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙐𝙓 ≠ 𝙏𝙧𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙝𝙮 𝙐𝙓 The Built for Mars case study on Lovable (the AI app that makes fixing bugs feel fun) nails one truth: Some products don’t just work well — they hook you. But here’s the tension: What makes an AI tool addictive isn’t always what makes it trustworthy. Lovable keeps users in a dopamine loop of quick wins — but also trains them not to think. Wait times become idle. Reflection turns into frustration. The user’s agency quietly erodes. That’s not bad UX. It’s optimized UX — just optimized for habit, not trust. 3 quick truths: 1) Trust grows slower than habit. 2) Ease without reflection can feel manipulative. 3) Delight ≠ confidence — fast feedback isn’t the same as feeling in control. AI products often reward engagement over confidence. 𝘽𝙪𝙩 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨 𝙜𝙤 𝙬𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙜, 𝙤𝙣𝙡𝙮 𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙠𝙚𝙚𝙥𝙨 𝙪𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙖𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙. Next time you test an AI feature, ask: “At what point does this stop building agency and start rewarding dependency?” That’s your trust threshold. https://lnkd.in/eMzzdUSG #UXDesign #AIProducts #TrustInAI #BehavioralDesign #HumanCenteredAI

What happens when AI gets UX wrong? Revenue takes a hit ❌ Generative AI tools can sound confident - but most only reach 50–75% accuracy when analyzing UX or CRO opportunities. That means 1 in 3 recommendations can actually hurt your site’s conversion performance 🚨 In his latest article, Baymard co-founder Christian Holst explains why accuracy is the missing ingredient in AI-driven UX, and how UX-Ray 2.0 became the first system to reach a documented 95% Accuracy Rate, matching human specialists. Inside, you’ll learn: ✔️ Why most AI UX tools fail below the 95% accuracy threshold ✔️ How small UX errors create outsized business costs ✔️ The research process behind UX-Ray’s validation Before trusting AI to influence your product decisions, it’s worth seeing how we proved that accuracy really matters. 📖 Read the article: https://lnkd.in/eEB5uD2H #UXResearch #AIUX #EcommerceUX #ConversionOptimization #Baymard

OpenAI has introduced Atlas, an AI-first web browser that prioritizes conversational, contextual interactions — it feels less like a new tool and more like the browser we already want when working with AI. Atlas appears designed to minimize friction: familiar UX, integrated AI features, and workflows that reduce the learning curve for AI-driven browsing and research. This launch signals a broader UX shift: AI capabilities are being embedded into core tools to match real user behavior rather than forcing new interaction patterns. Early impressions are positive for usability and direction, but keep an eye on privacy, default behaviors, and extensibility as Atlas rolls out more widely. 🔔 Follow us for daily AI updates! 📘 Facebook: https://lnkd.in/gxDt7PJa 📸 Instagram: https://lnkd.in/gmYfWDbF #OpenAI #Atlas #AIBrowser #AIUX #AIGenerated #CreatedWithAI

Excited to share our latest paper, "The AI Adoption Journey: AI at Home," the first in a three-part series I co-authored with my Ipsos colleagues Yana Beranek and Christo Van Der Walt. As AI goes global, it’s tempting to assume user needs are universal. Our research across five distinct markets proves a one-size-fits-all approach won't work. But one challenge is universal: the "Correction Tax." Users everywhere are frustrated by the time spent fixing AI errors and engineering perfect prompts. For AI products to succeed, they must not only resonate with deep-seated cultural realities but also earn trust by reducing this tax on users' time. Check out the full POV below for more insights. Stay tuned for the rest of the series! #ai #ux #userexperience #uxdesign #productdevelopment #ipsos

🚀 AI Is Redefining the Way We “Use” Software We’re moving from clicking buttons to simply talking to systems. From navigating complex menus → to describing what we want in plain language. AI isn’t just improving software — it’s transforming the entire user experience into something humanly intuitive. Tomorrow’s apps won’t ask “What action do you want to perform?” They’ll understand “What outcome are you trying to achieve?” This shift means UX is evolving from a design → dialogue, and interfaces are becoming conversations. #AI #UXDesign #UserExperience #HumanComputerInteraction #DesignThinking #ArtificialIntelligence #DigitalTransformation

One day the table fork was invented. It was the hype of its time. Only wealthy families would have forks on their tables, and would show them proudly on their dining setup. Still, that didn't stop people from using spoons to eat their soup. ✨ AI can be very close to magic, but it's not the right tool for all needs. 🤝 We need to come to an agreement with AI. To accept it and normalize it as a non-cheating method of completing tasks. 🚘 The user has to stay in the driver seat. It's a User Experience led AI, not an AI-first UX. The question remains about the speed of normalization of using AI versus building a strategy for using it. https://lnkd.in/g6DnHzCZ
