Everyone has a story, an experience, or a passion that helps shape who they are—and at Sevita, we believe there is value in bringing those perspectives together. Through our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), employees have the opportunity to connect with coworkers, celebrate shared experiences, and build a stronger sense of community. ERGs are voluntary groups created and led by employees who come together around shared interests, identities, and experiences. From supporting Veterans and military families to celebrating cultural backgrounds, fostering inclusion, and creating spaces for connection, our ERGs help employees feel seen, valued, and supported. Employees are encouraged to bring their ideas forward and create new groups that reflect the diverse communities within Sevita. Some of our current ERGs include: ✨ Black Experience ✨ DEIB Book Club ✨ PRIDE ✨ Interdisciplinary Support Network ✨ Veterans, Military, and Families At Sevita, we celebrate the unique perspectives that make our team stronger and continue to build a culture where everyone belongs. As a Founder, when you are building your team 2 types of team members will come and join you 1) Missionaries. These are those people who join you for the mission you are building. They want to be a part of the bigger picture and contribute to your mission. What they get out of this becomes secondary till the time they get what they expect. 2) Mercenaries. These are those people who join you basis what they get. They may be competent but what they are getting is more important for them. For every new initiative, they always ask a question- what’s in it for me. They get into these things only if they are rewarded for it. Both are very important to building your organisation. If you have more missionaries than mercenaries in the initial phase of the organisation, you are set to build what you had started for. 91 Blackboard Aarthi Mohan Kajal Mehta Hasib Kadri Kirtana Gattu Jagrati Joshi Vandna Devnani

One thing this week has reminded me of: people are the foundation of every mission. 💙 Behind every school, company, and organization are people who genuinely want to make an impact. The conversations I’ve had with educators, directors, and military community supporters have been inspiring — not just because of the opportunities they represent, but because of the passion behind them. Building connections takes time, curiosity, and a willingness to learn from others. I’m grateful for everyone who has shared their time and ideas as we continue building resources for military-affiliated learners. More conversations. More connections. More opportunities ahead. 🦅

🚨94-YEAR-OLD KOREAN WAR PURPLE HEART VETERAN "UNCLE DONALD" DROPS HARD TRUTH: “AMERICA MUST TAKE CARE OF AMERICA FIRST!” 🚨The idea of "owning nothing and being happy about it" raises significant concerns about the incentive to work. When individuals perceive that ownership is unattainable, it can lead to discouragement and a sense of hopelessness, particularly among younger generations. This outlook can erode the motivation to strive and contribute. Exploring the long-term societal impact of such perspectives is crucial for fostering a motivated and engaged populace. What happens when the identity you built your entire life around suddenly disappears? For many veterans, the transition out of military service is about much more than changing careers. It can mean losing rank. Losing the uniform. Losing the mission. Losing the daily connection to the people who understood your world. And, sometimes, losing a sense of who you are. During his conversation on The ToosDay Crüe, Jeremy Stalnecker explained why the Mighty Oaks Foundation takes a distinctly faith-based approach to healing. Their philosophy begins with a different starting point. Rather than beginning with symptoms and eventually introducing faith, they begin with faith and identity. Jeremy’s point is that when our identity becomes completely tied to something temporary—a job, rank, role, accomplishment, or even a painful experience—our sense of self can disappear when that thing is taken away. That was something he experienced personally after leaving the Marine Corps. The question Mighty Oaks tries to help people answer is much more foundational: Who am I when the uniform is gone? Their approach is rooted in the belief that there is purpose behind who we were created to be—and that understanding that identity can become the foundation for rebuilding. Identity leads to purpose. Purpose creates hope. And hope gives people a reason to keep moving forward. Whether someone agrees with every element of a faith-based model or not, there is an important leadership lesson here: People need an identity bigger than their title. Careers change. Positions disappear. Organizations evolve. If our entire sense of worth comes from the role we currently occupy, transitions can become devastating. Building identity, purpose, and community before those transitions happen may be one of the most important forms of resilience we can develop. 🎙️ Jeremy Stalnecker, CEO of the Mighty Oaks Foundation, on The ToosDay Crüe — A MisFitNation Production. #Leadership #Veterans #Faith #Purpose #Resilience #MilitaryTransition #VeteranMentalHealth #MightyOaks #MisFitNation #TheToosDayCrüe

What if it's OK to not have all the answers? For Sophie Roller, confidence didn't come from having everything figured out. In fact, early in her career at WWT, she struggled with imposter syndrome and questioned whether she belonged at all! Colleagues encouraged her to explore a new path, helped her discover her strengths, and gave her the confidence to grow into the leader she is today. Now, Sophie creates that same environment for others, where questions are welcomed, growth is encouraged, and people feel supported while they figure things out. #WWTLife "You don't have to have everything figured out straight away."

Dolly Parton kept the publishing rights to her own songs when almost nobody in Nashville told women to do that. That decision, made decades before anyone used the phrase "financial literacy," is why her estate still earns off "I Will Always Love You" every time it plays, streams, or gets covered by someone else. She treated ownership as a legal and financial structure long before that was a common thing for a woman in entertainment to say out loud. Dollywood, the theme park, the resorts, the catalog all trace back to one decision: a woman from a one-room cabin in Sevierville built a company and kept her stake in it. That's the part of her story that belongs on this feed as much as any regulatory update. Ownership and control, and knowing what you're worth before you sign anything, connect her to every woman running a fund, a firm, or a business today. The Imagination Library put free books in the hands of children across the world for decades, quietly, without asking for credit. It ran on the same instinct that kept her royalties: own something valuable, and use it to build something that outlasts you. She died today in Nashville, at 80, leaving behind a company that outlived the myth of the dumb blonde, and a couple generations of kids who learned to read because of her.
Such sad news about Dolly Pardon 💔 Her talent and empathy were extraordinary and her humanitarian work brought comfort and joy to so many. She lived a full life with so many wonderful lessons for us all. Rest in peace Dolly. https://lnkd.in/gFEkZkrR
