Everything that Andy said is true! Multipart assignments are a huge win for educators! Plus we have a new guide to help navigate this valuable new addition. See the comments below ⬇️
This post is a little overdue, but I didn’t want to miss the chance to celebrate last week’s multipart assignments launch 🥳 A lot of thoughtful work went into getting this one out the door, and I’m really proud of what we shipped. I’m especially excited about this release because it gives instructors more flexibility to design scaffolded learning experiences and provide formative feedback at meaningful points throughout the writing process. Put simply, it helps Turnitin play a bigger role in the learning process itself, rather than just evaluating the final work students submit. Way too many people to tag, but you know who you are. Huge shoutout to everyone who helped bring this one to life 👏 On to the next! Check it out: https://lnkd.in/gFFeQk-V

𝐕𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞! “Know something about everything.” That was one of the mantras we heard repeatedly as a Mass Communication student in Uniben. At the time, it sounded like just another academic principle. But over time, I’ve come to realize how useful it is in real life and in my career. Last week, I was part of a team testing a new product ahead of its launch. As part of the product management team, the Product Lead mentioned a tool we would be using to manage our test reporting. Some members of the team said they weren’t familiar with it or didn’t know how to use it. I was among those who said, “I know how to use it.” And I didn’t just know it. I went a step further, created the dashboard, and started documenting my testing on it. It was such a simple moment, but it reminded me of why I’ve always believed in learning beyond what is immediately required of me. You may not need to know everything. You don’t have to be the “omniscient” person in the room. But there is value in being curious enough to learn things outside your immediate field. Because sometimes, that random tool you learned, that course you took, that skill you picked up, or that knowledge you thought might never be useful becomes the very thing that makes you valuable in a room. Versatility is an advantage. The world of work is becoming increasingly interconnected, and I think being able to understand different things, even at a basic level makes you more adaptable, resourceful and relevant. Keep learning! Learn beyond your job description. Learn beyond your degree. Learn because you are curious. You never really know when that knowledge will come in handy. Know something about everything. Happy Wednesday! How's the week going? #learningneverends #productmanagement #productlaunch #socialmediamanager #learning

You don't need to know everything today. You don't need to have it all figured out. Just start learning one new skill at a time. A year from now, you'll have more knowledge, more experience, and a clearer idea of what you're capable of. That's why I chose to learn digital skills alongside my full-time job. Small steps today can create new possibilities tomorrow. 📩 Curious about what I'm learning? Send me a message or check the link in my bio and I'll share how our system works #LearnAndGrow #DigitalSkills #OnlineBusiness #SmallSteps #creatorsearchinsights

You don't have to choose between providing for your family and learning a new skill. It's Sunday again, and like many working parents, I'm thinking about my J.O.B., my responsibilities, and everything that needs to get done this week. But I'm also thinking differently now. I realized that my job doesn't have to stop me from learning. It can actually be the reason I become more intentional about creating new possibilities for my future. That's what this online business has given me—a different mindset. I'm learning new digital skills, understanding how the online space works, and discovering that I can build something alongside my job without putting my responsibilities aside. No need to have it all figured out. No need to rush. Just learn, apply, grow, and keep moving. So as this new week begins, ask yourself: What new skill could you start learning today that your future self will thank you for? 📩 If you've been thinking about learning how to build something online alongside your current job, send me a message or check the link in my bio. I'll be happy to share what I'm learning and how I got started. #NewWeekNewMindset #DigitalSkills #OnlineBusiness #LearnAndGrow #WorkingParents

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲-𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘂𝗻𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗸𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀. When a junior hire arrives ready for their role, everything changes. No three-to six-month onboarding period. No months of reduced productivity while they’re learning what ‘production-ready’ means. Sprinters arrive understanding clients’ tech projects and delivery standards as they have already been embedded into the client’s business processes. While tertiary education builds theoretical understanding, this does not bridge the gap to being role-ready. redAcademy's Career Sprint equips South African youth with real-world experience. Sprinters work on live client projects mentored by dedicated lecturers and technical mentors, delivering real code to real clients. They’re not preparing for industry; they are working inside it. Why do some people grow faster than others, even in the same job? They have the same job title. Similar experience. Sometimes they even work on the same projects. But after a few years, their careers can look completely different. One reason is what they choose to learn outside their regular work. A designer who learns business starts thinking differently about design. A developer who learns product starts thinking beyond the code. A marketer who understands technology can have better conversations with technical teams. These skills may not be part of the job description. But they change how you approach your job. And you don't always need to make a huge commitment to learn something new. A few hours a week spent learning, experimenting, reading, or building something can compound over time. The skills you learn today might not help you immediately. But they can open doors you didn't even know existed a few years from now. Your job gives you experience. What you learn outside of it can give you range.

Countdown to Graduation. Welcome to Day 6! "If I could start again…" I would stop worrying about how much everyone else knows and focus on learning one step at a time. It's easy to feel overwhelmed when you're surrounded by people who seem ahead of you, but every expert was once a beginner. Progress doesn't come from knowing everything, it comes from showing up consistently, asking questions, making mistakes, and refusing to quit. Don't chase perfection. Build strong foundations, stay curious, and celebrate the small wins because they eventually become big milestones. Your journey is unique. Trust the process, keep learning, and one day you'll realize you've come much farther than you ever imagined. TechCrush #Tech4Africans #TechCrushscholars #TechCrushgraduation

Training is often measured in hours. Learning should be measured in change. In many organizations, training initiatives officially restart in September. And yet, summer can be a valuable time for skills development. Why? Because the pace is sometimes lighter. Because there is less noise. Because teams can step out of urgency mode. Because learning does not always mean following a long, structured program. A learning culture does not rely only on a platform or a training catalogue. It also depends on managers who: - create time; - encourage curiosity; - value knowledge sharing; - allow experimentation; - show that learning is part of the work. The organizations that learn best are not necessarily the ones that offer the most content. They are the ones that make learning simple, relevant and accessible. 👉 Read the article: https://hubs.la/Q04sY6v60 What skill would you like to see developed in your organization before the end of summer? #illuxi #illuxiLMS #illuxiCAMPUS #Training #SkillsDevelopment #ContinuousLearning #HumanResources
