Rare Beauty Promotes Self-Acceptance Globally

This title was summarized by AI from the post below.

Since 2020, Rare Beauty has been on a mission to help everyone celebrate their individuality. We aim to promote self-acceptance and give people the tools they need to feel less alone.   Today, that commitment continues to drive everything we do.   Over the past five years, Rare Beauty and the Rare Impact Fund have worked together to advance youth mental health and expand access to resources and support for young people around the world. Through the Rare Impact Fund, which receives 1% of Rare Beauty sales, our work now reaches 3.5 million young people annually.   Our impact extends across everything we do. We’ve continued to create products with accessibility at the forefront, brought our community together through meaningful conversations about mental health and self-acceptance, and showed up to support communities during moments of crisis and uncertainty. In 2025, we also entered a new category with Rare Eau de Parfum, thoughtfully designed with accessibility in mind.   As we look ahead, we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has helped move this work forward. None of it would be possible without our community, our partners, and the people who continue to believe in our mission.   Read more about what we accomplished in the 2025 Rare Beauty Social Impact Report.

Congratulations to the Rare Beauty team. What makes the brand so strong is not only the message, but the way it has been sustained over time. When product, community, and social impact speak the same language, a brand builds something much deeper than preference: it builds trust.

Every time I read about Rare Beauty’s impact, I’m reminded that belonging isn’t created by a campaign. It’s created by designing products, conversations, and communities that allow people to participate fully. As someone living with multiple disabilities, chronic illnesses, and PTSD, beauty has never just been about makeup for me. It’s been about reclaiming autonomy, confidence, and choice on the days my body feels completely unpredictable. That’s why seeing accessibility woven into your mission means so much. Thank you for continuing to show that impact doesn’t sit beside a business. It can be built into every product, every conversation, and every decision. I hope disability continues to become an even bigger part of that story. 🤍

The strongest brand missions are the ones that become part of how a company operates, not simply what it communicates. Building measurable impact into the business itself is what gives purpose the power to last.

Rare Beauty is a great example of what happens when purpose isn't treated as a campaign but as part of the business model. Allocating a percentage of sales to measurable social impact shows that brand equity is built not only through products, but through consistent action. That's how a mission becomes credible.
