💡 What if you could build new tools... without touching the old code? I've been reflecting on the most impactful work I've done recently—and one theme stands out: ➤ 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝘅𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 — without traditional dev access. This has unlocked real value for teams stuck with legacy platforms, vendor lock-in, or systems that "just can’t be touched." Think: browser extensions, API overlays, automation layers, no-code/low-code solutions... creative ways to work with the tech stack you already have. Now I’m wondering: 👉 𝙒𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙗𝙚 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙞𝙣 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙤𝙣 𝙝𝙤𝙬 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙙 𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙤𝙥 𝙤𝙛 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙚𝙭𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤𝙤𝙡𝙨 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙙𝙤𝙣’𝙩 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙧𝙤𝙤𝙢 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙙𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙙𝙚𝙫? The biggest challenge after shipping software isn't bugs or features. It's helping stakeholders understand what you actually built. Don't accept this: → Founders who can't explain their technical advantages → Sales teams deflecting technical questions → Product managers not being able to verify what was implemented The solution isn't more documentation (nobody reads it). It's making your code conversational to everyone outside your dev team. https://www.codeask.ai

Ever had an n8n webhook fail due to a temporary hiccup? Don't let transient errors break your automations! Honestly, I didn't expect how often transient network issues would impact critical flows. Met a founder who hired a VA just to update their project board. I showed them n8n's Trello + Slack integration. Saved them $800/month and the VA now does actual strategic work. A webhook fires. The receiving system is momentarily down. Or a timeout occurs. Your data is lost. Manual re-runs are a nightmare. I configure my n8n webhooks with built-in retry logic. It's a simple setting. Go to your Webhook node. Find 'Response Mode'. Set it to 'Respond to Webhook Calls Directly'. Then, enable 'Retry On Error'. I usually start with 3 retries, exponential backoff. Here’s the basic setup: * Reduced manual error triage by ~70–90% * Improved workflow reliability by ~20–30% for external integrations * Saved ~2–4 hours/week on monitoring and recovery Always assume external systems can fail; building retries is your first line of defense. What's your go-to n8n reliability trick? Most teams don’t need more people, they need smarter systems. Here’s a quick look at one simple automation I built using n8n that saves time every single day. Workflow: * A new lead fills out a frontend form. * n8n automatically adds the entry to Google Sheets for recordkeeping. * A welcome email goes out instantly to the lead. * My team gets an internal notification about the new submission, no manual steps needed. That’s hours of repetitive admin replaced with a seamless workflow. What I’ve learned building this is simple; Frontend development becomes way more powerful when it’s connected to automation. It’s not just about building interfaces anymore, it’s about building systems that think for you. In the coming weeks, I’ll share more practical setups like this small, functional automations that make a real difference in how teams work. What’s one repetitive process in your work that you wish could run automatically? #Automation #n8n #FrontendDevelopment #NoCode #WebAutomation #WorkflowAutomation #Productivity #SmartSystems

If your “tech stack” feels more like a tech pile, you’re not alone. We see operators drowning in disconnected apps that create more work instead of less. Let’s talk about replacing chaos with one clear, connected platform. #businesssoftware #rentalsolution #software #billingsoftware #softwaredeveloper #database #backend #backenddeveloper #GuestFlow

Your biggest competitor isn't another company. It's your infrastructure setup. A growing tech team was losing time. Every week, developers spent hours setting up separate tools for different jobs: one tool for sending emails, another for video calls, another for payments, another for scheduling. They weren't alone. Most dev teams face this same problem. The Old Way: - Install 10+ different packages - Set up 10+ different API keys - Spend hours getting them to work together - Start coding (finally) Time wasted: weeks per project. What Changed: The team discovered COSS, a single stack that bundles everything together. One install, everything works npm install @coss/stack No more switching between tools. Auth, email, video, payments, SMS, notifications...all included. One key, one setup COSS_KEY=ITSTIMETOBUILD Instead of managing dozens of keys and credentials, one line handles it all. Now they build. That's it. No more wiring things together. No more debugging integrations. Just shipping features. The Results: Before COSS: 40% of sprint time spent on infrastructure. After COSS: 10% of sprint time on infrastructure. That's 30 hours per week of coding time the team got back. Why It Matters: Open source runs everything we use online. But most developers waste time connecting pieces that should work together from the start. COSS solved it: one unified infrastructure that just works. The Bottom Line: Better tools mean faster shipping. And faster shipping means better products. Does this match your team's struggle? Comment below. Ready to get your time back? Join the early access waitlist at coss.com and see how one stack can change your workflow. #OpenSource #Developers #Productivity #TechTools Question for you: How much time does your team spend on infrastructure setup each sprint?"

Automate the Boring Stuff: The Hidden Power of n8n Every developer knows the feeling — hours spent doing the same repetitive tasks: pulling data from APIs, updating spreadsheets, sending Slack alerts, or deploying reports that could have easily been automated. That’s where n8n steps in. n8n is not just another automation tool. It’s an open-source, self-hosted powerhouse designed for developers who want flexibility, control, and the freedom to automate anything — without being locked into proprietary platforms. What Exactly Is n8n? n8n (short for nodemation) is a workflow automation tool that connects your apps, APIs, and services — no complex setup, no restrictive pricing tiers. It works like this: You create nodes, each representing a service or action (like an API call, a webhook, or a Slack message). You connect these nodes visually to define your workflow. You hit run — and watch your automation come to life. What sets n8n apart is its developer-friendly nature. Think of it as a perfect middle ground between Zapier’s simplicity and https://lnkd.in/gbHQpBKv
