Over the past month, HPD Commissioner Dina Levy has been visiting offices across our Division of Enforcement and Neighborhood Services (ENS) to meet with the teams who help keep New Yorkers safe in their homes throughout Heat Season and beyond. These luncheons have been an opportunity to hear directly from staff about their work and to recognize the expertise they bring to the agency every day. Moreover, they’ve been a chance to thank them for responding to complaints, inspecting buildings, enforcing the Housing Maintenance Code. Our vast ENS team works tirelessly to help tenants get the heat, hot water, and essential services they are entitled to. Our work is only possible because of the people carrying it out across the five boroughs.
