⚙️ Technology that Learns from People In most workplaces, technology tells people how to work. At VR Centre, we believe it should do the opposite — learn from how people actually learn. That’s why our training ecosystem is designed to adapt: 🧠 AI tutors that personalise feedback in real time. 🎭 Synthetic Scenes™ that respond dynamically to learner choices. 📊 Analytics that reveal skill growth and compliance readiness instantly. When training systems adjust to people — not the other way around — organisations see faster skill development, consistent standards, and measurable ROI. Future-ready learning starts with empathy built into the code.

"Digivior" – Digital Learning Behavior.. As immersive technologies like AR/VR evolve, organizations are increasingly exploring their potential across learning domains. But are we critically assessing where they actually work—and where they fall short? After working nearly three decades across Sales, Marketing, HRM & Development, and both physical and digital learning, I’ve observed one consistent truth: Technology doesn’t succeed on features alone—it depends on how people engage with it. That’s why in 2022, I coined the term: 🔹 Digivior – Digital Learning Behavior It refers to how individuals perceive, respond to, and adopt digital learning experiences, influenced by: * Generation * Culture * Cognitive style * Learning Styles adoption & adaptability * Organizational maturity * Digital exposure * Learning environment As an Applied Psychologist, this lens helps me decode what really drives or blocks engagement with learning tech—especially in immersive formats like AR/VR. 🚀 AR/VR: High Potential, Hard Reality Where it works best: AR/VR is highly effective for technical, structured knowledge—like anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, equipment training, and simulations. It offers: ✅ High engagement ✅ Risk-free practice ✅ Faster conceptual understanding BUT... there are clear limitations: ❌ Most users feel uncomfortable after 10–15 minutes ❌ Most users feel uncomfortable after 10–15 minutes ❌ Low appetite for repeated usage ❌ Very expensive to implement ❌ Content creation & customization require heavy effort ❌ ROI often remains uncertain 🌐 The Bigger Challenge: Behavioral & Conceptual Learning AR/VR struggles with soft skills and conceptual domains, where success depends on: * Culture * Language * Position & personality * Organizational maturity External forces (e.g., regulations, digital readiness) Even when applying frameworks like Porter’s 5+1 Forces, it becomes nearly impossible to design universally effective behavioral experiences. And remember — each generation, each country, and each learner engages with tech differently. Their Digivior is shaped by digital literacy, comfort, and lived experience. 💡 Final Thought AR/VR isn’t a silver bullet. It’s a powerful tool—but only when used strategically and contextually. To get it right, we must design experiences based not just on content—but on behavioral readiness and digital engagement patterns. That’s where understanding Digivior becomes critical #Digivior #ImmersiveLearning #ARVR #DigitalLearning #AppliedPsychology #LearningBehavior #LXP #FutureOfWork #LearningAndDevelopment #DigitalTransformation

Do you know that 81% of educators and IT decision-makers now measure the success of edtech tools by student engagement? That’s huge. It means all the fancy features, AI, VR, dashboards, gamification, don’t really matter if they don’t pull students in, keep their attention, and make learning feel alive. At the end of the day, engagement is what gives technology its real power in the classroom. What I find interesting is how this shifts the conversation. For a long time, the focus has been on what technology can do. But this reminds us to ask a more important question: what is it actually doing for the learners? Are students feeling seen, heard, and motivated, or are we just automating for the sake of it? A recent academic paper added another layer to this. It warned that as schools lean more on generative AI, the real risks aren’t just about wrong answers or glitches. It’s about how these tools quietly reshape teacher roles, student behavior, and classroom dynamics. When tech starts changing the human relationships that make learning work, we have to pay attention. So here’s my question to you: if engagement is the metric that really matters, how do we build for it without losing trust, agency, and genuine connection in the classroom? #EdTech #DigitalLearning #AIinEducation #FutureOfLearning #EducationInnovation #TeachingAndLearning #StudentEngagement
