Naughty dog is cooking something awesome
I applied for the Producer (Design) position. I am confident I'd be a great fit and do excellent work for y'all.
"It’s inspiring to see such a diverse range of roles opening up at a studio that defines cinematic excellence. As a Video Producer specializing in high-fidelity gameplay trailers, I’ve always looked to Naughty Dog’s lighting and sound design as the gold standard for immersion. Excited to see the talent that joins the pack! 🐾 #GameDev #CreativeProduction".
Noticed the Senior Sound Designer listing has already been taken down...missed it by a flash! Would anyone be open to outlining the typical expectations that distinguish a senior-level sound design role from junior or mid-level positions at studios like Naughty Dog? I'm particularly interested in understanding:• Scope of responsibility (ownership vs support)• Expected level of implementation (e.g. middleware, scripting, systems design)• Portfolio benchmarks or examples that demonstrate "senior-ready" compared to "junior" work If anyone has seen similar past listings/experience or can point me toward archived descriptions, I'd really appreciate it. I'm trying to align my portfolio and experience with industry expectations.
Interesting to see how all these roles sit on the same problem from different angles, at a certain scale, it’s no longer about individual disciplines, It’s about keeping everything aligned while the project keeps growing in complexity. That’s where things usually break, not because of lack of talent, but because alignment becomes harder than execution. P.S. Still not a bot 🙂 Following this closely.

I wish to be the QA but unfortunately industries don't hire Junior/Mid level. I wonder how I will become senior if I don't get hire 🥲
I would love to work for you but I am agoraphobic at the moment… working on it ❤️
If you ever need German language support, I’d love to work for your company.
TL;DR: Naughty Dog has 9 openings across. All jobs are hybrid/onsite...there are no junior to intermediate roles listed...everything is senior-level or above based on the job titles and descriptions. QA might be the closest to "accessible," but even that expect experience. If you're a senior in your discipline (e.g, 6+ years of expierence), apply. If you're junior or mid, this isn't your door.
